Re: Strange/misprinted Killer vinyl

 that thread made me laugh! I know it's a thing that happens but it's a fun read :) I actually like Bing Crosby, well some of what he did. But I'd still have been a little surprised! Off topic: OK I know what this is, but this line in the "online users" made me chuckle even more "Users browsin...

Ah you were quicker, I was coming to say the same :)

They're actually getting faster, usually the shows air almost a year later.

I don't have a TV!

Re: Anyone at the show tonight?

I wonder what Chuck would have done if he saw me fight like a kid for one of his picks? :rotfl:
I didn't intend to, but I somehow ended up sprawled on the floor next to the thing so I tried to get it. And I did :8):

Well why act your age when this is such fun?

Re: Anyone at the show tonight?

My friend saw this too. But as much as I looked I couldn't find any more info about it.

Very funny article, thanks for posting.

Re: Anyone at the show tonight?

Set list was the same as last year in UK as far as I can recall.

Danielle I am not sure it really was broadcast? I heard someone say so but I wonder if they confused it with the extracts you can find on the 20 minutes site? I've kept an eye on the Caprices website and didn't see anything like this.

Re: Anyone at the show tonight?

There is this thread here where we were discussing the show. http://www.alicecooperpics.co.uk/SickthingsUK/forums/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=8030 I came home an hour ago from Crans, am totally exhausted from transporting heavy stuff in the morning then travelling by train having a blast at the concert, sle...

Re: Alice in Crans Montana 14 March!

Well on the bright side there will be time for a proper meal, you're most welcome to join in. Sort of sneak in around 8:30 and make it closer for the Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, and hopefully the front for Alice. In Avenches I still made it to the barrier, if somewhat on the side. Good enough for m...

Re: Alice in Crans Montana 14 March!

There is a pdf schedule on the site now: http://www.capricesfestival.ch/multimedia/docs/2013/03/grille_horaire.pdf Looks like Alice will only go on at 23:30 (11:30pm) Hm, I guess I'll apply my usual method of sneaking in after the first two bands. I'm taking my best friend along and I doubt she'll b...

Well as usual. Wait and see.
So far it seems to be only a US tour. I'll worry about it if it also comes to Europe :)

Re: Tour Between Alice And Marilyn Manson COnfirmed In Alice

I had exactly the same reaction as Si, mixed emotions and not very happy. Nothing against MM and I like what I know of his music. But I am not so happy with two big acts sharing a bill. Harder to get tickets also. And I'd be a little worried too about the crowd. I was kind of glad that the Rob Zombi...

Re: Alice in Crans Montana 14 March!

I really don't know about these roads. Maybe you'd be better off to go through Berne and Fribourg? I don't know where you live but in any case this seems like the safest option? And it might be faster than the tunnel.

Re: Alice in Crans Montana 14 March!

Well since I live up a mountain too, it's a normal thing to change your tyres in September, it's even compulsory. Chains used to be compulsory until they built a tunnel under the pass that goes to Neuchâtel. And I'm ok driving on snow. What I am afraid of is people who have no idea what they do and ...

Re: Alice in Crans Montana 14 March!

It's a hall alright (Centre des Congrès). It's -10°C in the middle of the night! But take good shoes, I remember a long, long metallic stair completely iced over. Maybe they replace it now but that was rather dangerous. And if you drive you really need snow tires or a 4X4 vehicle. It's bad enough up...

Re: Alice in Crans Montana 14 March!

Well, it's a ski resort? Hence the "up in the mountains" part :8): Some people love to go to the festival and ski during the day. I don't ski ;) There are trains every hour not a problem really. Takes me about 3.5 hours from here, just a bit more than Basel. It's a village but quite big and posh. Bu...

Re: Alice in Crans Montana 14 March!

At the very worst I'll leave by car at 5pm and pray for snow free roads and no traffic jams. And get there hopefully before Alice goes on stage.

Good grief, this means I am seeing Alice in two and a half weeks! Countdown on start! ;)
