Headbangers Ball, They are being rereleased in the United States because those three albums were out of print in the United States though you could easily find them online. I knew Muscle of Love and Lace and Whiskey had been out of print, but I actually didn't know until a few weeks ago that appare...

Excuse my ignorance, but why are they to be re-released? Is it because they will be digitally remastered or something?

[quote= If we use US sales figures for example, of the 17,000 units sold to-date, I would imagine that less than 1,000 units sold were vinyl as very few people buy vinyl copies nowadays. Usually it's just the collectors who do so.[/quote] I agree with you. Not many people will buy the vinyl to actua...

If you buy the Daily Mail today, theres a whole page devoted to him entitled 'A Very Dangerous Dandy'. Apparantly he was a flamboyant and controversial figure in the House of Commons. He legalised gay sex, liberalised divorce, married a girl 50 years his junior and launched a devastating attack on B...

I have quite a few signed items - a hardback copy of B$B and Golf Monster, signed vinyl, Special Forces and the picture disc 'Its Me'. My favourite collectible is my huge 'pink' Special Forces Paris poster. Out of everything I own, that is possibly the one thing I wouldn't let go!!

I didn't buy my Eyes vinyl until well (a couple years) after the release date and it cost nowhere near that much. Sometimes both Amazon and Amazon Marketplace sellers have a seriously inflated idea of what something is worth. I remember seeing the Snakes & Dead Babies CD for sale at around £40.00 on...

Wow! Now that's a cool album! I think I'm going to have to buy it just for the artwork and photo's. Does anyone plan to actually play one of these vinyl thingy's? Thanks for all the information! I decided it was too good to resist and opened my copy, which yes, I will play on my turntable! I went b...

ACAS VINYL QUESTION?

I received my vinyl LP of ACAS yesterday - sealed. Theres a sticker on the front of it saying 'coloured vinyl'.

I am loathe to open it! Does anyone know what colour the record is?

There would be too much golf for some and probably a sprinkling of religion that wouldn't sit too well with some of his rock fans. I agree. I don't think a reality show with Alice playing golf and going to church would be a good idea. But I think WickedYoungMan's idea of a reality show with Alice "...

I may be wrong, but I seem to remember Alice expressing an interest in a 'fly on the wall' series about him and his family, around the time it was announced that the 'Osbornes' would be made. If thats true - I doubt he expected the type of program that later emerged. I'm sure he would not have expre...

Hey Shoey! Nice review; which I totally agree with. I especially like your comparisons to RYFAY and also Trash - you can certainly hear the connections there - a GOOD thing! I was totally in agreement with your 'nod' to DD with 'Wrapped in Silk'. On my first listen to ACAS, that was my least ...

I finally found some time to give ACAS a proper listen too. I wasn't holding out too much hope for it after the dismally awful 'Dirty Diamonds'. However......... ACAS is absolutely BRILLIANT! I love it! My faith has been restored. Current favourite is "The one that got away" - too, too funny! Great ...

'if you reject God then you are going to Hell' Oh dear, I'd better commission an asbestos suit, then. Just another religious bigot to me. That he's an Alice fan doesn't change that. HA HA HA!! Can you order me a suit too?! I do actually think Alice's material (even from the early days) has ...

I absolutely HATE and LOATHE Dirty Diamonds. The only decent (and remotely Alice song) is 'Your own worst enemy".

I have tried and tried so hard to like it - but its awful. Pure Hell. Very painful to listen to.

I SOOOO hope the new stuff is better. ;)

Re: New dates

Just seen the new dates in Germany for November, interesting that the first couple of weeks in November are still free, i am hoping and waiting that maybe something will appear for the UK in that time slot. Personally, I hope your wrong Kev. I am hoping for a show in his hometown early November, ca...

Great picture Steve! :rotfl: I was always weird. As a child onboard a flight, the stewardess asked if I wanted to be a stew when I grew up. I replied I wanted to be a mortician. When I first saw Alice on 'Top of the Pops' - becoming a fan seemed the most natural thing in the world to me. I believe t...

This is BRILLIANT! After that totally throw away Dirty Diamonds ditty, which I found so un-Alice like and unbearable to listen to......................... 'Vegeance is Mine' is thankfully a return to a more familiar Alice (to me), and I just hope hope hope that the rest is in the same vein. Slash re...
