Like the song and a replay of the bass intro from Elected was fun. Congrats on the strong solo Steven.
Agree with Pitkin in a way, for the first few listens it actually seemed to be setting itself up for the chorus from Teenage Frankenstein.

Re: Weird Fish Clothing
Weird indeed. It was good to see an Alice t-shirt being stocked in Top Shop a couple of years ago. Didn’t last long though.

Re: New single - 'Our Love Will Change The World'
Good to see the single hitting the Radio 2 playlist. Whether you like the track or not it’s surely good to know that over 12 million will get to hear it a few times.

Spotify just shared my most frequently played music of 2020. Three HV tracks in the first 30 listed and all off Rise too and only one cover.

Re: comparing ACG to Alice solo in terms of rating enjoyment
good summary, althought I would give TLT a place on its own, it being totally different from constrictor and RYFAY and Detroit Stories could indeed be seen as a stand alone : on the one hand it would be a covers album (mostly), on the other it is promoted as an AC album seeing the trademark makeup ...

Re: comparing ACG to Alice solo in terms of rating enjoyment
I view the whole story from PFY to Detroit Stories in chapters each one is effectively a mini career to me so I don’t really compare ACG to AC as such. It’s all part of the journey. 1. ACG had a slow start, exploding with LITD, peaking with Killer, SO and BDB and then dropping off with MOL. 90% 2. W...

Re: New single - 'Our Love Will Change The World'
A week in now and I’m listening to Our Love a couple of times every day. It’s not something I’ve tried to like because it’s Alice and that certainly happened with Breadcrumbs for me. After the initial shock and a couple of plays it stood on its own which is great.

Re: New single - 'Our Love Will Change The World'
Really liking this now. Not at all the Alice I thought I knew but that’s fine. The fact it is so different has raised my enthusiasm for the album now so I’m grateful for that. Starting to feel like it could be an album of three parts. Proper Alice ( Don’t Give Up), surprise Alice (Your Love..) and n...

Re: New single - 'Our Love Will Change The World'
“BTW, the last Vampire album was better than anything I’ve heard off of Breadcrumbs or this new one so far.”Completely agree. This took me completely by surprise as I expected gritty vocals to make the original a bit rougher. Instead, the original has been given a production polish and the vocals ha...

Re: Rock meets Classic Zurich
I would imagine the selection would have been based on audience recognition. If so, Trash was a big hit in Europe, more so than the ACG albums in many countries and this therefore becomes an obvious choice for the audience profile. Liked the song and liked the version here. Would love to hear My Sta...

Re: An Alice Cooper vinyl box set
Got all the copies and versions I need and as I stream 95% of the time I don't need to buy what would effectively be an ornament.
If I am going to drop another £1k on Alice it will be on new material and gigs.

Fifth listen this morning and don’t think I’ll be back. Played Don’t Give Up as well to compare and contrast. A massive difference in conviction and connection for me.

Only a mixture of vaccines and testing and tracking will work. Not only that but nearly everyone needs to comply or we keep going round in circles. A combination of about 30% of people refusing to vaccinate and the 5% or so of vaccinations that don’t work and we will keep churning this problem for a ...

Re: Detroit Stories first song "Rock 'N' Roll" to be available Fri 11-13-20
I’m struggling with the single. I knew the original and do think this is a really good version.I think the production and vocals are great but the problem is that there is not enough to hold my interest as I was never a fan of the song in the first place. I’ve played it a few times now to see if it ...

Re: New album cover
Oh, I’m certainly keeping the faith. Been around way too long to stop now. Concept - I’ve been wary of this album ever since I first heard the concept as I’m another who prefers new material to covers. What I’m reading hasn’t done much to change my mind yet. New covers - I’ll keep an open mind but I...

Tend to agree that HV can continue but this had already hit the film career and the verdict has hurt more. Dropping out of the Fantastic Beasts will hurt and his pipeline of future films isn’t what it used to be.

Put out the damn "Detroit Stories" album!!! It's not like he's going to sing any of the songs from this album... well maybe one when he tours again whenever that happens. LOL! I was hoping for some Alice Cooper slippers or Tupperware to be honest. Or AC branded coffin shaped storage boxes for all t...

Re: Live at Glasgow '82 - 2lp RSD 20202
While I'm loving the album, I'm in total agreement about the disappointing sleeve. In fact, I'm now thoroughly sick of my friends asking, "How's the packaging?" as they anticipate me telling them of something that's actually of any interest. I guess Alice's aversion to how he looked back then disco...
