Re: No Alice for RSD?

Alice always has that mentality of never looking in the rearview mirror he always looks ahead so pretty sure it would be Alice’s management or label to release any past Alice material.

Re: No Alice for RSD?

I would of liked to have the full concert from "The Alice Cooper Show" which was edited on one vinyl. I believe they had a few more songs on that tour from Lace and Whiskey album called 'King of The Silver Screen' tour.

Flying Tigers

Have a live recording of Flying Tigers at Barnaby’s in Bridgeport Conn, 1979. Most of the songs are untitled but a few listed are “Sweet Dancer”, “Dirty Minds”, “Don’t Let Go”, “Love Is A Killer” and “Do You Wanna Know” which was my favorite song written by Neal that appeared on Michael’s ’83 solo. ...

Re: The Schools Out album

I remember the first time I played School’s Out album I loved “Blue Turk” on first spin it's amazing.
Did you ever perform this live even though I know you didn’t have a traveling horn section just for one number but any attempt or discussion to do a live version?
Thanks

The Doors

Have a few Doors questions. I heard some of the influences on your earlier albums and often read that Alice and Glen hung out w/ Jim Morrison a bit. Also the story of the seance that went amuck w/ Jim as well as the time Jim borrowed Glen’s sweater for the photoshoot of ‘Waiting For The Sun’ cover. ...

Battle Axe is one of my favorite post AC albums I still play. I've seen photos of those few performances but is there any film of these concerts?

Re: Chris Sutton book

See amazon list 160 pages. No info of any photos included. What I would really like to see is a book of every Alice Cooper album as they go track by track of each song. But not the authors view the person who wrote the song. I really like 'KISS Behind The Mask' book as they cover each song. Even 'Th...

Re: Alice Cooper "Easter Eggs"... new songs referencing old songs

From an old version of this site (a page I removed last update....) Basically a list of self-references which maybe applicable to this thread. Originally by Matt C. Killer: Yeah, Yeah, Yeah Blatant self reference. "The things are getting tougher, the things are getting rougher. This is Alice speaki...

Re: Social Debris

My excitement had faded to disappointment by the end of my first listen, and after some more listens over the last few days, it hasn’t grown on me. I feel like all the elements for a good anthemic song are there, but no section feels .... Have to agree with you. I've been disappointed from the 3 si...

Re: The Kids Singing On School's Out

While there are credits for the kids that sang on songs like Department of Youth and My God, I don't think I've ever seen it specified who the kids are on School's Out. Has this been mentioned on anything? The kids on Stolen Prayer don't seem to get listed anywhere either. “School’s Out” from Denni...

Re: The Alice Cooper Show 1977

I bought it the day it was released and have loved it since. Saw the tour in spring and this record has the same sound and feel (even though a few band members had been swapped out). Have to agree! Same here I loved it when it was released and still do. I think Wagner & Hunter do amazing guitar wor...

Re: Detroit Stories first song "Rock 'N' Roll" to be available Fri 11-13-20

I honestly like Lou's original version I'm not really impressed with this one. But if others like it more power to ya. Now I heard that Neal Smith wrote "Social Debris" and wonder any other titles by the original band? I remember reading they talked about 3 or 4 songs. I wonder how many made it to t...

Has anybody received anything yet? This campaign was funded on September 23 2018 and promised by May of 2019. I only ordered a pin "Cold Cold Coffin" that I received sometime ago I think about a year ago. I first ordered a download of the song but when I went back to add the pin I somehow deleted t...

Re: Live at Glasgow '82 - 2lp RSD 20202

I did get the RSD vinyl even though I have a bootleg. The audio quality is good but only issue I have is the packaging. For $42 including tax all you get is 2 vinyls in a single sleeve wrapped in individual black vinyl sleeves. No art, no open gatefold sleeve, no photos from the concert, nothing! I ...

Re: Digital VOTE stickers

This is interesting. Looking at Alice's WB catalog, there are currently VOTE stickers on iTunes albums in the USA. I've also heard about them on Spotify as well. Not sure if this is an Alice-only thing, but I don't see them on other artist's albums from the same era/label. Sort of odd, in light of ...
