Re: Alice's tidal wave of music

While I'm hopeful, I don't see any touring for anyone in 2021, but I'm looking forward to any new music released, especially from Alice. Also looking your way, AC/DC!

I know Dragon town was the BP follow up but imo it is just not a worthy sequel...

Me too. Make it happen, Si! You've got connections.
If Si has any say in this, you KNOW Ubangi Stomp will be at the forefront.

Re: Alice with Tesla and Lita Ford Summer Tour

Rescheduled date for Edmonton on November 23rd. Lita Ford appears to still be on board as opener. Not holding my breath as I feel it'll get postponed again, but some good news anyway.

2nd worst album after ACAS. Horrible hokey bollocks. You could stop at David Foster!
2nd favorite album after Welcome To My Nightmare. :8):

Re: Have you changed your mind?

Crazy Little Child, to me, is one of the most underrated songs Alice has released. In my top ten for sure this is one of the songs which has got worse for me! I didn't like it at first and its only got worse as time has gone on. But Muscle of love was never an album I was in love with, tho oddly ha...

Does a Trash Bag, half a Bra and half a Pool Cue count?
Gawd, Baz would have definitely jumped on this with a snide quip, but I just can't bring myself to do it in his stead. He was the Master.

Reminds me of the old days.

RIP, old friend.

Crazy Little Child has a great guitar solo, as does Blue Turk.

Re: ‘Ol black eyes is back Tour

I've seen in a few places posted that VIP tickets go on sale tomorrow. The Peterborough venue seems to suggest there's a pre-sale going on Thursday instead. Anyone know how I can buy tickets tomorrow? Artist presale code today (Wednesday) for Edmonton is SICKTHINGS. Facebook/Live Nation codes for t...

Re: Something Is Coming/new mailing list

I would expect this new mailing list to be about new Alice Cooper records/tour dates etc... but I know no more then you at this stage. Alice's FB story is now showing 2020 tour dates are imminent, with Lita Ford as support. I'd guess North America, but no further info. Just that VIP packages go on ...

Re: I LOVE AMERICA. THE LAST WARNER BROTHERS 45!

I believe Prakash is Canadian and lives in Toronto (or it's suburbs) but somewhere I think Prakash stated that he doesn't remember playing at those sessions. I could understand this is he were uncredited, but the album jacket goes out of it's way to make sure to credit him on that song. I saw Praka...

Re: Bob Greene - Billion Dollar Baby Book

I managed to secure a great paperback copy at the Wee Book Inn (second hand bookstore) for under five bucks. It was on a clearance rack of all places. I didn't even mention what it was going for elsewhere after I bought it. I just walked out.

Re: Dragon town revisited

Dragontown is my least favorite Alice album, but it still gets a few spins here and there. While most songs on DT are decent, good even, one song in particular (which won't be mentioned) drags this entire release down into subpar territory. Only a really bad song can affect a whole album's quality, ...

I guess the question this begs is...would an unplugged type album go down well?
Would be bucket-list for me to finally hear Prettiest Cop on The Block with French horn accompaniment. Don't scoff, you know you want it too.
