Re: A New Media Deal
Did the band sign this too? That would be nice because I'd hope to see them do more shows in 2018 with more promotion...especially since it's the 50th anniversary of "Alice Cooper". Doubtful the hired musicians would sign any deal. Hopefully this means they're going to be doing some things with the...

Re: Christmas Pudding 2017
have you thought about asking Dennis or Cindy on FB. They are usually very nice about responding. I was going to, but when I saw the "with Slash" thing, I figured it was probably not going to be the Alice Cooper band. Here is what I found out: He will be performing with some of his band--Nita Strau...

Does anyone know if Alice is performing with his solo band, or maybe with Michael, Neal and Dennis?
The event is on Dec 9 and Chuck will be on tour with Beasto Blanco during that time...

Re: Why BBB did not work out
Musical tastes were changing. It was becoming increasingly difficult for hard rock bands to get radio airplay. That's why the record label kept on releasing ballads because the harder rocking tunes weren't getting any radio airplay. I actually slightly prefer solo Alice to the original band but you...

Re: The best of Easy Action and PFY
I love both albums, and have been listening to these 2 a lot more in recent years
Favorites would be:
Sing Low, Sweet Cheerio (I actually like the demo's better though)
Living
Fields of Regret
No Longer Umpire
Shoe Salesman
Laughing at Me
Refrigerator Heaven
Beautiful Flyaway

Re: Finally - The Nightmare special official on dvd
Received my copy yesterday. There's a nice little booklet with some promotional pictures, ads, letter from Vincent Price and a good write up on the history of "The Nightmare" and "Welcome to my Nightmare" "The Nightmare" looks as good as one could hope given the source elements. It's nice to finally...

Re: Alice on Eddie Trunk Sirius XM Show this Friday
The most exciting part of the whole interview is when Alice mentioned the Hollywood Vampires in Dracula's Castle. Period. It will be completely ridiculous to pass up an opportunity to record the album and film it in this setting. Period. I rest my case. Okay....and maybe about the ACG being onstage...

Re: New album sales
I remember W2MN debuted at 22 and I think sold 22,000 the first week of sales. There was a lot of promotion with that one. I was at the Universal Halloween Horror Nights that year and they were playing cuts from the album on the escalators while Alice had prerecorded safety tips in between songs for...

Re: Finally - The Nightmare special official on dvd
Even if it is 16mm, that would still look amazing on blu-ray. The shot on video Nightmare TV special, not so much. But yeah, it's possible it was shot on 16mm and blown up to 35mm, but if so, it wasn't as noticeable as it was with Good to See You Again, Alice Cooper

I really want to hear Fireball, but I'm pretty disappointed with everything (especially Dynamite Road and Holy Water)

Re: Finally - The Nightmare special official on dvd
This should be worthwhile and it doesn't matter a bit if there's no blu ray version. Original tv show shot on 1975 technology video and the concert shot on 16mm film and then blown up to 35 mm. There are no quality enhancements that blu ray can bring. I always thought Good to See You Again was shot...

Re: New album update
All 12 songs is only 5 minutes longer than Killer's 8 songs. They could have put all 12 songs on a 12" platter, and the 6 live tracks probably would have even filled one cd as bonus tracks. The vinyl is 2 LP's at 45rpm. They did this with Deep Purple and the last Stones album...so its like 2-3 song...

On the iTunes pre-order page, it has the track listing with the times. Longest song is 4:49... 1. Paranormal (Feat. Roger Glover) - 4:11 2. Dead Flies - 2:22 3. Fireball - 4:49 4. Paranoiac Personality - 3:11 5. Fallen In Love (Feat. Billy Gibbons) - 3:33 6. Dynamite Road - 2:43 7. Private Public Br...

Re: New album update
What's the point of even including those live tracks with the fill in musicians. Just put the ACG songs on the actual album and call it a day. Or better yet, the bonus disc could've had the full Good Records live set, plus the 2 new tracks, and it would've been an awesome treat for the hardcore ACG ...

Re: Paranormal Cover
I actually like it more than the last 3 studio album covers. It looks like it's meant to be a play on the Rorschach test. Maybe it could've been executed just a little better but I see what they were going for. The Rorschach test is a psychological test in which subjects' perceptions of inkblots are...

I've been saying the same thing for years, esp after the Hall of Fame and Golden Gods in 2011, and even more so now...because those Nashville gigs just smoked! ACG upstaged the solo band on the '14th, haha
