Re: Hollywood Vampires "Live in Rio" 2023 release

Rio 2015 seems like an odd choice. The setlist is mostly cover songs. I thought for sure they’d be releasing the 2018 Montreaux concert since they put out the live video for Boogieman Surprise when Rise was coming out https://youtu.be/X9mjH3hM49o That setlist featured more of their original tunes an...

Re: Distortions Unlimited Alice Cooper Props

Hi Cooper fiends , First post here on this fantastic forum . I learn something new just about every day . I just watched a new video on Distortions Unlimited YouTube page and didn't see it mentioned here . It is a video of the props they made for Alice , including a woodchipper prop that I've never...

Re: Which Prime Cuts dvd is better?

The original DVD has MUCH better video quality compared to the 2 disc, which is cropped to 16x9 and not as sharp…and also the colors seem a bit muted. Just a lousy transfer. It also doesn’t have the Kane/Kip section. The bonus disc is nice though for the extended Behind the Music interviews and 87 r...

Re: Nita Strauss Quits

The only weary thing I have with the Kane rumors is that he hasn’t played live in a LONG time. Does he still have the chops in a live setting? Then again, I’m sure this was something that’s been planned for months and these guys are all pros. As far as people being worried about all these Constricto...

Re: Alice Official Store - what do you want?

Speaking of the official store, what the hell is up with the KILLER 50th anniversary merch??? Literally a left over Raise the Dead 2013 tour shirt and some other one with some strange design. Once in a while they'll have something nice (like the grey America 73 B$B shirt and LITD one with the OGs on...

Re: Gold discs

I've never tried playing any of mine but I've heard that the record company would use less popular albums that had a similar amount of songs. I'm reluctant to break the seal on the back of the award but at least you've inspired me to get out a Killer album to compare the grooves. Sure enough, they ...

[quote="While Heaven Wept" post_id=310323 time=1625772895 user_id=611] I think it's a fascinating period of Alice's career which i'd like to hear more about. You won't hear much about it from AC himself. That's why it's called the "Blackout Years" All you will get is 2n...

Elected mix

Hi Dennis,

I always wondered, why did you guys decide to mix the vocals on "Elected" in the left channel only. In fact, I noticed a lot of different separation between different instruments in both channels.

Re: Special Forces Running Order

If the track list with Teddy Bear was the original order, I wonder if Vicious Rumors had the Who Do You Think We Are Reprise tagged at the end of it, or if that was added later. Is it on the acetate? I know there’s some Different mixes on there

Re: The Alice Cooper Show! 1972 Tour - Live At The Hollywood Bow

Musically I prefer Orianthi’s playing. More of a 70’s based sound. Shredding I’m not into. Same here. Nita isn’t very good Back to the Hollywood Bowl show, does a film of the entire show even exist?? I don't believe so or if it does it his locked away gathering dust somewhere. I thought I had heard...

Re: Giant Baby

Ha ha i guess I'm in the minority because I think it's a little cheesy. Maybe if the design was a little different I'd warm up to it, but "Billion Dollar Baby" printed on the baby's chest is just a little too obvious. I pretty much dig everything else I've seen so far of the new stage and set - Just...

Re: ‘Ol black eyes is back Tour

Think I’m getting old and cynical ....bet it’s just the curtain drop....and I hope I’m wrong Probably. I doubt it’s going to be an elaborate stage. It’s all about the cost of moving the stage from town to town, quick set up at all the festivals in Europe etc. when you really think about it, the act...

Re: Bob & Shep & Alice are ok

I believe and it is becoming more and more apparent that the original Alice Cooper band became a to big to fail corporate band during the making School’s Out. Bob, also would be judged as a producer by the bands output; Therefore he did what he needed to do not to fail by bringing in musicians to p...

Re: Rise - First reviews

my review - cracking album. wasn't interested last time when they were doing covers but if a decent date turns up this time i'll be after a ticket. all the songs are solid, i really like JD's vocals, especially on the cover of People Who Died. storming effort all around. Bass and drums are also exc...
