Re: How would you recreate the Paranormal Cover Art?
Just mention that with my CD, I found that the booklet was held very tightly in the front pocket. Although I took it out carefully, I still managed to rip the crease in the front cover at the top. Since then, in taking it in and out, I have a tear on the bottom part of the crease. I have sellotaped ...

Re: How would you recreate the Paranormal Cover Art?
The cover is ok for me, and I imagine Alice (his team) will have briefed a graphic designer/design team to come up with this. My first impression was that the cover seems to relate more to schizophrenia than the paranormal or say paranoid personality. But perhaps that is me being picky. I am just pl...

I think Kiss had solidified this the year before in 1976 with Destroyer- pity Alice couldn't have stopped Bob Ezrin producing lolDevon wrote:Now we know why KISS took the throne from him during this era!!SickThings wrote:Here's a new upload of the video on YouTube:

Re: Your Favorite Alice album rankings from 2000 to Present
Very difficult this question, so congrats for asking it Like the Eurovision song contest, the votes from the Republic of Recoop are as follows 1. Paranormal 2. Brutal Planet 3. ACAS 4. W2MN To be honest the euphoria of a new Alice may die down but this is my view. The only album in this period I did...

Re: ACG + ACB
In the spirit of Monty Python's Holy Grail, I suggest that we call the touring band ACAS-Alice Cooper Autonomous Collective- this would share the abbreviation with the UK Mediation Service and that splendid recent album. Off to play Ubangi Stomp. Then the abbreviation should be ACAC. My thoughts: A...

Re: No more (love at ur conveveince)
This is hard for me to say, as I pride myself in recognising that all views are subjective. NMLAYC is a pile of steaming crap and is even worse than Ubangi Stomp. That is simply not possible Ha..I thought you would have to say something.. One man's Ubangi Stomp is another man's NMLAYC (or public co...

Approximately 46 years late for that, I'm afraid. [/quoteSaint&Sinner wrote:Alice should go for the Led Zep high ground of not being a singles band

Re: What Song Should Be The Next Single?
No more singles of the album. Alice should go for the Led Zep high ground of not being a singles band. The main album is only 35 mins (very good though imnho)

Re: New album sales
Although conditioning has me interested in the US chart position, I really like the album whatever the position. Somehow this album has been made catchy and full of hooks. Reminds me of a music paper's review of a Macca single along the lines of " there are so many hooks on this record it makes your...

For anybody interested this link is about the effects of alcohol on the voice. I used to counsel people with alcohol problems so I retain links of this sort.

Second attmept at posting this one as well-gremlins tonight-seems to block out if someone else typing/posting So, Si which Glasgow gig was that? I saw him on SF tour 82 in Glasgow- a bit growly voiced. The crowd seemed high on being there (or high on something)and were in full support. From memory, ...

Re: Alice's Voice
I tried to post this earlier so if a double reply-sorry. To the original post- I have heard Alice, once or twice, be suffering from a croaky throat whilst performing (via youtube). Once when he was a drinker and once when not. I think that fact that he does not drink alcohol is a big plus in that hi...

Having listened to Larry Mullen's drumming on said tracks, I agree with Dadascot and While Heaven Wept. His drumming seems excellent to my ears.

Re: Thoughts On And Ranking The New Album
Only bought the CD today-honest. HMV York and the guy behind the counter said the CD was flying off the shelves- I thought I had misheard him but No it apparently has been selling well - the shelves pretty well stocked too. Anyway, I am very entertained by this Album-there are a lot of influences on...
