Wow I'm actually really surprised that the original band had a slightly bigger role on this album than originally advertised. Nice to see Steve Hunter on here as well.

Just a side note, Paranormal is currently the #3 album on Amazon US. Not that I'm saying this would translate to anything on Billboard but it's just nice to see something like that for Alice.

I would say Nita would have been a welcome addition in hindsight! She's a stand out and I think something that has been missing from Alice's music for a while is truly stand out musicianship.

I've listened to it and while there are some good songs, I was a bit disappointed overall. There are times when the music sounds a bit "mechanical" and without feeling and the tempos of the songs seem rushed. As though the hired guns came in, rushed their parts in 1 take and left. "Along Came A Spider." That album was Alice's Magnum Opus.

Early leaks happen with virtually every release these days.

The song is really good up to that guitar breakdown 3/4 through. It wasn't memorable or contributed anything the song. But it comes back at the end.

"Paranormal," the track, shows promise. "Geniune American Girl" = Less said, the better, in my opinion.

Blabbermouth have some quotes from Alice (assuming from a press release) describing some of the songs. But then the article alludes to TWO ACG songs, instead of 3.
