Re: The Alice Cooper album of the Day: DRAGONTOWN

A mixed bag album for me. I loved Brutal Planet from start to finish and looked forward to this one. The first album of the album rocks and I love the production on this one. Unfortunately the second half is not nearly as solid though I prefer Every Woman Has a Name to Take It Like a Woman. I may be...

Re: What's Next for Cooper

I am not crazy about a covers album either. Alice is getting near the end of his career (how much longer, who knows), so more than likely, we are down to the last few studio albums. I would like those to be original material speaking as a fan. I personally would like to see him go back and do a fair...

My second favorite of the early 80's albums behind Dada.

Re: The Alice Cooper album of the Day: FLUSH THE FASHION

A good album that sounds better and better though the years (though as a whole I prefer the heavy metal years). This album would rank third among the early 80's Alice albums with me. I still prefer Dada (one of my favorite Alice albums ever) and Special Forces but definitely some strong material on ...

Re: The Alice Cooper album of the Day: KILLER

My second favorite original Alice Cooper band album (I actually like Love it To Death better). Rocking songs, fun lyrics, and it is amazing to consider how much the band had improved by this point.

Re: Will Alice film DVD for this new Tour

I am possibly in the minority on this one but I would think releasing a new live DVD every year is overkill.

Re: behind the music program

They did it for Alice as you mentioned a few years ago. It was something VH1 Classic was doing for a lot of their artists. It is unlikely they will be updating a Behind the Music for a third time for quite a while if ever. There are also several artists that are still recording or touring that haven...

Re: The Alice Cooper album of the day:TRASH

A good album that is definitely listenable and certainly had its moments particularly through Bed of Nails. Hey Stoopid was far superior though. Trash was a smart album for Alice to do and he brought in people like Desmond Child to give him a chance at another legitimate hit, it worked. It may not b...

Re: behind the music program

A few years ago, VH1 Classic did an update on several of the old episodes. Basically they edited a few of the things previously seen from years ago and added about 20 minutes of new material/information. They did this for several bands to update fans on what the bands were currently up to.

One of Alice's best albums ever. I still enjoy listening to this one and contains some of his best lyrics.

I am probably in the minority on this one but of the hits, "Elected" is probably my least favorite.

I agree the songs always sound great live. Brutal Planet was a masterpiece in my opinion. It is probably in my Top 5 Alice albums ever.

Re: Cardiff Setlist spoiler 24th Oct

He's Back is a great addition. In my opinion, five cover tunes is still a bit much. To me, the right number would be three and rotate those songs. The other two I would use for another song off of Hey Stoopid such as Love's a Loaded Gun or Wind Up Toy. I would love to see "Nothing's Free" added to t...

Re: Poison Live

Poison was easily Alice's biggest hit since the 70's and won him a new base of fans. Dropping it in many people's minds would almost be the equivalent of dropping "School's Out" or "Eighteen" from the setlist.

Re: Opening Night SPOILERS!!!!

I already know I am going to get slammed for my opinion on this one but that's okay. I usually defend most of Alice's decisions and understand it is the music "business" but speaking purely from a fan perspective, I have zero interest in hearing an entire section of cover tunes. One or two cover tun...

Re: The Alice Cooper album of the Day: ZIPPER CATCHES SKIN

Through the years I have really grown an appreciate for the early 80's albums and think "Special Forces" and "Dada" are great albums (especially Dada). Though I like everything Alice has ever done, this one would rank in my bottom three Alice albums along with Along Came a Spider and Muscle of Love....

Re: The Alice Cooper album of the Day: SCHOOL'S OUT

I have always thought this was a good album, but not quite up to par with Love It To Death, Killer, or Billion Dollar Babies in terms of the original band. There are some good songs on it though.
