Re: "Road" - Reviews

Nice review wind_up_toy. I agree with a lot of what you say. One thing: I have to admit to actually liking "The Song That Didn’t Rhyme." The punchline saves it for me. Thanks! I’m sure lots of people like that song, it just isn’t for me. And there lies the dilemma for Alice, such a wide and diverse...

Interesting review, which focuses on the positive points and neglects the negatives. I agree with the 3 out of 5 score though.

Re: Hollywood Vampires 2023

I took in the Swansea show on Friday and must say that it was really very good (a point backed up by the crowd reaction throughout). There's great camaraderie and cohesion amongst the group now and the setlist has evolved to the point where the three main members (Alice, Joe and Johnny) all have nic...

Re: I'm Alice

I really like it. It definitely does seem a bit stitched together in places (like the Paranormal song) and I’m getting strong vibes of Elected and King Herod’s song, but that’s not an issue. I must say though, I massively prefer an album being released BEFORE singles. This track is clearly a piece o...

Re: “Road,” August 25, 2023

Have just pre-ordered the box set from Amazon UK (via the SickthingsUK link, of course)! I'm going to hang fire - £80 seems a bit steep. On the Good Records site there's a CD with the blu ray for around $22 and some funky coloured vinyls. So will hope for a CD/Blu-ray release in Europe and a couple...

He hasn’t put out new music since “ paranormal” ? I don’t understand that statement.
I think what he means is that both The Breadcrumbs and Detroit Stories featured several covers / re-invented versions of previously released songs, with neither sounding like all-new releases.

I didnt know it was a thing!!! do you have a link that would aid the site money wise? http://www.sickthingsuk.co.uk Use the Amazon search on the left after picking your country. (You can search for ANYTHING this way, and after entering the Amazon site anything you buy in that session helps STUK reg...

That's a common issue.

Same with the die-cast vehicles that were released at a similar time.

Is that Winterland poster a copy or was it made up for this book? Cause I never seen that poster before.

Re: Alice Cooper @ 75

Here’s a few errors I spotted: > Alice is stated as having changed his legal name “before the band’s first album” (in 1969), but this actually happened in 1974 (he was, however, named as ‘Alice Cooper’ in the credits of the first album, Pretties For You). > In the comics section, the two Alice-theme...

Re: Def Leppard and Motley Crue

This is pretty horrible on paper for fans. For Alice though, it's probably a good wager for 45 minutes work every night, plus he's likely back at his hotel by 10pm. I guess this is the ultimate example of the difference between what fans want to see in the final years of his touring career and what ...

This is the 2022 re-issue by eOne, who also did a similar release for Dragontown in 2019.

This particular release was made in two colour variants, 'Brutal Brown' and 'Brutal Bronze'.

Re: Vampires UK tour dates just announced

Tried in vain to get tickets for Swansea over the last few days, but all I got was error messages when using the presale link. Tried via the general sale this morning, waited in a queue for 20 minutes only to then be told it was ‘Sold Out’ (or is it?). I got a presale email from Swansea Arena about...
