Re: Bob Ezrin - Still worthy?

Some says that Bob have not produced a masterpiece album since 90s "Modern Rock(post Nirvana)".
I agree that there is lack of subtlety and dynamics.

I always love Bob, but
If my wish could be granted, Tobias Sammet is far better.

Re: My Stars, the beginning of the end

>The billion dollar question: If the Alice, Wagner, Ezrin grouping was the gold standard, how did they wind up with Lace and Whiskey? By 1976, Alice was very tired and ill(alcoholism). but in those days, Rock musicians had to release an album every year. Still, I think L&W A-side is good. Songs have...

1995 Monsters Of Rock (toured with Ozzy)

There is 1995 Monsters Of Rock footage on Youtube. I'm surprised that Alice was very good onstage, because I remember Ozzy Osbourne once spoke badly of this Alice's show (see link below). I don't know why Ozzy said so bad things about Alice (with Manson) It still embarrass me. By the way, in mid-80'...

(Joke)

Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody"(~3:00 part) is a little bit similar to OWB.

Re: Goes to Hell tour

I believe that this tour concept is "Disco is hell".
It is a pity that the tour was canceled.

It would be a delight to see “Guilty” "Didn't We Meet" "You Gotta Dance" on stage.

You can see "GIVE THE KID A BREAK" "GO TO HELL / WISH YOU WERE HERE"
"I Never Cry" 1976 performance on Youtube.

Re: Some Folks

(As always, I'm sorry about my poor English.) I think many listeners (especially outside US&UK) "misinterpret" this album. (In my opinion) They just think this album's theme is about inner conflict of a boy, not about killing. In WTMN DVD commentary, asked about why many people are captured in "Stev...

To While Heaven Wept:

Thank you for your kind reply.

I really love "Stolen Prayer" "Unholy War",
but I don't quite understand why Alice chose the songs written for Ozzy.

About Stolen Prayer and Unholy War

I heard that "Stolen Prayer" "Unholy War" were both originally written by Chris Cornell for Ozzy Osbourne and
instead they ended up being recorded by Alice Cooper.
Is it true?

I would like to know further detail.
So I'm glad somebody tell me how Alice, not Ozzy, sang these songs.

Re: Why was Trash such a big hit over the superior Hey Stoop

Again, I'm sorry for my very poor English. I think It is not unusual that Alice (of course Most artist) rework somebody's song or "this song is similar to the song of the other artist". For example,"Escape" is the same (reworking). The title and chorus of "No More Mr Nice Guys" came from Sparks "(No...

Re: Why was Trash such a big hit over the superior Hey Stoop

Firstly, I'm sorry for my poor English. I think Trash is as important as Hey Stoopid. Without Might as Well Be on Mars , I regard Trash is superior. To say nothing of "Poison" "House of Fire" "Hell Is Living Without You" , I even love "Why Trust You" . On the other hand, I don't like "Feed My Franke...

Any chance of a collaboration with Tobias Sammet?

Re: Alice Cooper's DaDa- Albums Unleashed w/Dick Wagner

I'm sorry for my poor English. I'm always very surprised that many fans in US and UK don't like Constrictor, RYFAY, even Trash. In Japan where heavy metal is very popular (famous heavy metal magazine called "Burrn!"), Trash is regarded by many Alice fans (in Japan) as his best album. RYHAY is also r...
