There was a time I thought that TEOAC was the worst album AC ever put out but then Dirty Diamonds was released and changed my mind.
So in a way I agree with the original poster, TEOAC>DD but it's a bit like preferring moldy cheese to moldy bread.

Re: ALICE COOPER To Enter Studio In Early 2010
Rubin could be an interesting choice because he has two solid examples that I can think of in regards to revitalizing old careers (Johnny Cash, Metallica) and as far as him never working with someone "like Alice", well he's worked with artist like the aforementioned Cash and Metallica as well as Dan...

Re: ALICE COOPER To Enter Studio In Early 2010
Anyone have any idea who this "surprising" new producer might be ?? Seems he kind of hinted to a special producer for ACAS but I guess that did not happen due to scheduling conflicts. IMO that could have made the difference from a good ACAS to a great ACAS. Think it might be the same guy ?? Who is ...

Re: New Tour Setlist Discussion *SPOILER*
ACAS is a much better album to just do 1 song. I like seeing Nurse Rozetta, Guilty, The Awakening, DoY in the set and nice to see Feed My Frankenstein and Lost in America dropped. But doing SO twice is dumb imo. I'm disappointed, looks like Alice is a full blown nostalgia act.

Re: New album on the way!
With Alice's track record since BP, I actually do not get to excited to hear that he's coming out with a new album. While I would obviously love to hear about AC working with DD, MB and NS again, it would be no guarantee of a monster album. You would need an Ezrin type producer to get anywhere near ...

Re: Michael Bruce creative output
The lack of hugely successful Michael Bruce output post ACG has mystified me somewhat over the years. No doubting his input to the original bands music but I wonder if we need give credit to Uncle Bob here for perhaps teasing out and fashioning raw ideas into top quality stuff. Without Bob perhaps ...

Re: Can I borrow some makeup?
A video by Wolfmother, White Unicorn, or something with Unicorn in the title, has kinda like black marker drarwn on people throughout the vid. At some point the Alice make up is drawn on a fan. And while not the make up, surely Slash on the bed holding the boa, has to be some sort of nod towards Ali...

When did Jesus take over Alice's life?
I know about Alice's father being a man of god, but what I'm wondering about is when did Alice become born again and did that stop his drinking in its' tracks? I remember reading a small item in the entertainment section of the Toronto Star saying that "former shlock rock star Alice Cooper had becom...

Re: Alice & Ace...
I used to toy with the notion of Alice and Ace getting together in a sort of Tin Machine supergroup situation. I forget who I would have had on bass and drums, but I'd STILL pay real money to see these guys together on tour. You know it! How great would an Alice Cooper Group reunion be with Ace as ...

Re: Live 'Killer' show from 1972
Being bootlegged in the 70's meant you've arrived. True dat! I was puzzled by a comment in the Great White Wonder book when it said about Parricidal Slumbers, and I'm quoting from memory so it won't be accurate, "by Alice Cooper, an artist bootleggers usually avoid" they also included Rush in that,...

Re: Live 'Killer' show from 1972
Manufactured Alice boots (esp. vinyl) are pretty much extinct, artifacts from a bygone era and getting them signed now isn't like getting them signed back in the seventies, when they were looked upon as some sort of threat and music thievery. But I think it would be in the poorest of taste to try an...

Re: Would you buy Alice on vinyl?
Being the "old fart" that I am (older than cds, that is), I have all on vinyl. Im not sure it would make sense today to rerelease all Alice on vinyl ... unless added special stuff were included. Im certain one could find all vinyl available if one wanted (Shoey ... which one ya need?) I would love t...

Re: "School's Out" - Limited Edition Audio Fidelity Gold CD!
Apologies if it's been posted already, but how many copies of these are pressed?
I love the sound of this disc and am really looking forward to Killer as I think that disc will benefit even more than SO, from the Steve Hoffman treatment.

Re: Could Bob Ezrin Have Saved Muscle Of Love?
In a word - yes. I actually like MoL alot but it has weaknesses. My main problem with the album is too much sweetener (the horns) and too much Liza. This album would of benefited if it had a heavier feel and horns and female back up singers kill heaviness. I agree that HHA could of been epic, Woman ...

No one said it did. I hope you don't deny that it was a talking point though.

Re: Watts in a name
I agree with Gunner, it wasn't until Ezrin came along that things were headed in the right direction before that the name wasn't doing much for the band. And while there is a difference between "main" and "big" it all comes undeer the same umbrella - we're not drawing up a legal contract here. Alice...
