Re: Classic VH v Classic Alice
I am a big VH fan and I love A Different Kind of Truth. It sounds just like prime early 80s VH. Unfortunately, few bands can recapture the magic. If it was easy, all classic bands would do it. VH have rerecorded 5 songs that they demoed in the 70s. This is something they did 'back in the day' too. F...

Re: Cover songs
I much prefer Alice's version of Clones. I lasted about 10 seconds of David Carron's version.

Re: Dark Shadows soundtrack features 2 Alice Cooper songs
Ballad of Dwight Frye - good to see a lesser known, to non-Alice fans anyway, song getting some exposure.

Dee Snider inspired by Alice
Twisted Sister Dee recounts how series of comedy messages led to demo then on to fully-fledged theatrical music record. Twisted Sister frontman Dee Snider was inspired to record his Broadway album after a series of missed phone calls with Alice Cooper. They entertained each other so much with their ...

Re: How do you feel about Alice opening for Iron Maiden?
Makes sense for Alice. He gets to play in front of big crowds and has the chance to convert many rock fans who would normally not go and see him live. Also it is a great value double bill with 2 legendary rock acts playing together.

Re: Alone In His Nightmare
I thought this had been discussed before but because the topic was just titled 'new release' I did not realise that it was referring to this CD. Perhaps Si can merge the 2 threads.mestreech wrote:And there was a topic on this cd.

Alone In His Nightmare
I haven't been able to find any threads about this CD. Please accept my apologies if one has already been started. I have just got Alice Cooper Alone In His Nightmare the live broadcast from Great Western Forum, Inglewood, Los Angeles, 18/6/1975. This has always been may favourite unofficial live Al...

Re: Dark shadows trailer is here!
Dark Shadows is virtually unknown to most people in the UK. I am 48 years old, English and I have never seen an episode of Dark Shadows. Therefore, I suspect most of the posters on this site will not have seen it either so I wouldn't expect loads of posts about it on here.

Re: "A Big Announcement to Come in a Few Weeks"
...Maybe it will be the release of the Adam Ant/duet or the Cheeky girls/Alice collaboration versions of "School's out" that we have been impatiently licking our lips for, for so long...!! If Alice was going to do a School's Out duet with a female duo surely it would be with Daphne and Celeste as t...

Muscle of Love is essential if only for the classic title track and Hard Hearted Alice. I like Workin' Up A Sweat too.
