I don't know if A.C. with or w/o the Hollywood Vampires could top what the Local CBS affiliate has been doing for many years now. Always an adventure!

Re: A visual representation of Trash

I am all for people having their own opinions, especially when it comes to an artist as diverse as Alice, but I'm getting a bit pissed off at the constant slagging off of trash. This album resurrected his career and many wouldn't be on this forum if it wasn't for the success of the album. I've writ...

I'm not sure if he was ever a drunk or friend with Alice, but he was big in the 1970s--that's close enough.

Sorry, but the falsetto just may be out of A.C.'s range. :rotfl:

CDs would have such more appeal if they came in a 12x12 fold out like a record.
Have you forgotten the long box?
Kept Sgt. Peppers (only one)
Sure, a 12x12 would be an idea that was never used.

Re: Alice's Facebook Page

I've been waiting for this thread to pop up for a while. Frankly, I'm staggered that anyone would think that they are interacting with Alice in any way, shape or form. There is so much that comes The Masters way - unless he knows you personally (excluding Meet & Greets where he "Knows You" for 10 m...

Interesting discussion.
I'm not on FB - got cajoled into joining MySpace & was throughly disappointed. FB killed it & now you have Twitter & all the others. It's just too much! I don't need to know when someone has a bowel movement!

Re: Hollywood Vampires Gigs - "Count me in" or "Not a chance

It's an interesting choice. I'm going to go out on a limb and say we're going to get one STP song dedicated to new honorary dead drunk friend Scott Weiland. I'm guessing "Sex Type Thing" as Alice could pull that off with some snarl and growl. From a Blind Speculation POV I can safely say you're on ...

Re: Bruce Roberts

I like both albums. From The Inside was definitely a concept album which leaves tying the songs into the story up to the listener whereas, Trash was a calculated attempt to bring Alice back & it worked! Much to the dismay of many here but, it did bring me back to the fold. :8): Much to the dismay of...

1st 45 was Teenage Lament '74/Hard Hearted Alice when I was Thirteen! I then followed with Muscle of Love LP for my 14th Birthday. Proceeded to go backwards from there until WTMN & now all albums since.

Re: Remember The Coop: A tribute to Alice Cooper

On the other hand, Alice has done cover songs that far outshine the originals. The version of "7 & 7 Is" on Special Forces may be one of the best cover songs ever recorded. I agree Mr. B, just downloaded the three additional tracks to the H.V. album " 7 & 7 Is" pales in comparison to what AC did fo...

Re: Tour 2016---Thoughts???

As I see this go on & on, one must realize that he has become an "Oldies" act. :blues: After all he's no Spring Chicken. Whether or not he has "new" material - he'll more than likely only trot out two or maybe three of those, the majority of the rest will be "Classics". The newer fans he's picked up...

Re: Bob Ezrin - Still worthy?

My argument was about people believing David Bowie's fanbase was more open to him experimenting and moving away from his previous style. This is not true. While he charted higher much of the time, his sales did not show that his fanbase stuck beside him anymore than Alice's. Much of Bowie's fanbase...

I would like to see more of what he & Andrew WK captured in their interview.
Some of the ACG & some of the early solo Alice. Maybe the 2 of them could try writing together w/an emphasis on the Detroit Sound.

The Hollywood Vampires ROCKED the Grammys! The heaviest performance of the night! As Bad As I Am is a great new tune & an awesome choice matched with Ace Of Spades.
Lemmy would have smiled at the effort!!

Saw that coming but it was featured in the movie "Roadie" so there might but a connection with the audience. ;) Can't please everyone!
