Re: ‘Ol black eyes is back Tour

Alice has stated in numerous interviews he has no plans to retire and Nita Strauss in a recent interview stated she thinks Alice will tour another 10-15 years so this is not Alice's last tour assuming his health holds up and that definitely appears to be the case as Alice is still in great shape. A...

Re: VIP got VERY expensive?

This is where I've been for years... Any Tour worth it's weight should have a BluRay/DVD of said tour! All of this money coming in. :teach: Why can't they pick a venue & bring in a good camera crew? :bam: Milk the cows but, don't give the average fan access to a single show? I miss the old d...

Re: If 4th street could talk?

On the subject of re-issues, has anyone seen the latest Guns n Roses Appetite for Destruction set? £850! https://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B07CPCFV4Z/sickthingsuk-21 Sounds great but am saving up for Gene Simmons Vault (Home experience). An absolute bargain at $50,000. Do you get a discount...

Re: 'Soundstage' 1979

Bruce Roberts reminds me somewhat of the late great Steve Goodman.
Never had heard Bernie sing before, he did seem like a 3rd wheel though.
His inclusion made the segment special though. :/
P.S. Lullabies are supposed to put you to sleep - job well done!

Re: Bob Greene - Billion Dollar Baby Book

I managed to secure a great paperback copy at the Wee Book Inn (second hand bookstore) for under five bucks. It was on a clearance rack of all places. I didn't even mention what it was going for elsewhere after I bought it. I just walked out. Good for you! $5 is all the paperback is actually...

Re: VIP got VERY expensive?

Del: Alice has "Gold" and "VIP" options ... neither includes a M&G. True - was just my failed attempt at humour.. Still, After a "Selfie w/A Piano, your's was much more interesting. :x I would love to "Have your (my) picture taken next to Alice Cooper's monster" - whichever the current one is (I do...

Re: VIP got VERY expensive?

I'd never forget blowing a grand on a handful of lavender-scented bath beads and a selfie with a piano. "Memories to last a lifetime"...yep...for that kind of money, you can get a Blue Point 10 pound sledgehammer, a share of Snap On stock, a BBQ grill, a Mossberg 500 12-gauge pump, a couple boxes o...

But,You get a selfie w/His Piano! :rotfl:
Pretty much what I thought when it was revealed that it didn't include a M & G w/Elton.

Re: VIP got VERY expensive?

I've never understood the fascination of meeting a famous person. All I want is for you to put on a fresh new show with a great setlist. I buy a ticket - you perform my money's worth. I applaud at the end, your ego and wallet are fed, and we both go home. Satisfaction. I've worked with bands trying...

Re: Dragon town revisited

If I had my way, they'd tour the first two records indefinitely...but that aint gonna happen. They're gonna go with the formula which works for them - and honestly, nobody would turn a career into a money losing venture if they can avoid it. Padre, you mean PFY and Easy Action (you would have a ver...

Re: Greatest Hits on vinyl in 2019

Halo of flies was a big hit in the Netherlands so we would love to have it on the record. It's a big hit with me also!  I've often thought we need a two-LP set of the other side of the Alice Cooper Group - the epic pieces. Something like this: Titanic Overture Sing Low Fields of Regre...

Re: Greatest Hits on vinyl in 2019

I dont mind re-issues as long as there are no bonus tracks, etc. That stuff never adds anything to the original. Not too much room for "Bonus Tracks" anyway. Why mess with a good thing? GH clocks in at over 40 mins. So, to add anything would involve audio sacrifices that only a "Bonus Disc"...

Re: Alice Coopergroup - Record Store Day release

Really $40/$60 for what is basically an Ep?
I'm sorry that a vinyl edition is not in my price range. Sure the goodies help but as long as I feel I can hear it down the road,(& some tracks of which I've had the pleasure) I'm not that much of a completest.
Sorry to say. :(

Re: Billion Dollar Belt ?

I guess Alice fans aint got that kind of money? Things like this that are kind of unique are probably quite difficult to sell so they probably need to keep relisting. Sorry about the spam- sure didn't come from me. Didn't think it did. But, it did take awhile for it to calm down also. Haven't check...

Re: Zappa's influence on Alice Cooper

Frank Zappa was a musical genius, just ask Dweezil.
The ACG & Alice Cooper were unique & ahead of their time.
Frank recognized that, & influenced both in some way or another.
