AS Robbie said , it is sometimes hard to realise just how little info was out there back in the 70s. I used to wait for Sounds to come out , which was like a bible back then as it seemed to be the only media that would carry any Alice news. They used to have a " News From USA " column , or something...

Thats no problem, as with DA , it was merely a bit of fun for us who have too much time on our hands.
Unlike the USA, I don`t suppose the promoters have to worry too much about where the albums sold the most as all the UK is readily accesible to all.

Just looked again at the location of the list of states on DA`s list. With the exception of California and Florida , it seems that the rest are northern states, and the mostly populated.
