Re: Searching desperately . ....

Wow, after seeing this post I went on YouTube to rewatch the Paris 1981 so I typed in Alice Cooper 1981 in the search and they actually have a b/w pro shot show from Capital Theatre 10/10/81! I never knew this existed

Re: One tour you could revisit......

I would love to see the Killer Show only because I'd love to see the original band and plus I'm partial to seeing the gallows execution. I seen it on the Raise Your Fist & Yell In Your Flesh Tour and that was actually a neat show with Alice slitting the throat of the Prostitute( It was like seeing a...

Re: Never Been Sold Before

I do definitely agree with everyone who says that the ending of NBSB drags on...but I really love the song As I said earlier I don't know if Muscle of Love was Out of print for a while during the late 70's because I never seen it at any record stores in the Buffalo area and I went to many record sto...

Never Been Sold Before

I was just curious what everyone thinks about this tune.... As I posted before...I got into Alice Cooper with the release of the Alice Cooper Show. After this I became a fan and had to buy all of his albums(although I found Love it to Death in my house(thanks to my older sister)) Anyway... I thought...

Re: AC&Friends even sadder than Tom Snyder appearance

It kind of sucks because I really would have loved to have seen that tour whether it would have been live at the time or if they had released a full pro shot video/dvd of the show. The stage with the giant tv looked like a great show. I understand how you'd like to see it for curiosity sake but tak...

Re: AC&Friends even sadder than Tom Snyder appearance

I always felt Alice didn't look or sound right on the Strange Case of Alice Cooper. I thought he looked so scrawny. I was wondering though if his vocals sounded like that throughout the tour or if it was just that San Diego show. I never heard any other shows from that tour but his vocals from San D...

Re: Dragontown is an excellent album!

I like the album but for me personally...Dragontown & Eyes of Alice Cooper for some reason just never stayed with me. Usually with Cooper albums after a few listens most if not all the songs stick with me whether I like the songs or not. Trigger man, Dragontown & Disgraceland all did stick with me b...

Re: Lace & Whiskey and Maurice Escargot

I really would have loved to have seen this tour but I didn't discover Alice until I bought the Alice Cooper Show shortly after its release. I wish there would have been a full show filmed from the tour. I seen the Alice Cooper & Friends show but that was cut up pretty bad. I really enjoyed the Sagi...

Re: Your biggest disappointment in Alice's career

I basically have liked everything Coop has put out but I was a bit disappointed in "Trash" . I love the title track but most of the other tracks just didn't sit well with me(Bed of Nails, Spark in the Dark, This Maniac's in Love with you). At the time I really didn't care for "Poison" & "Only My Hea...

Don Kirschner's Rock Concert Question

Hi...I was just enjoying the Deluxe version of Super Duper Alice Cooper and in one part during the Wolfman Jack/Hollywood Bowl footage they cut to some fans being asked questions which made me remember an episode of Don Kirschner's Rock Concert I seen in the late 70's. I didn't discover Alice until ...

Unusually, I have not seen the film yet-will be purchased of course on dvd. Anyway just a thought regarding the AC drugs non issue. One of my favourite AC tracks is No Tricks, from memory co written with Bernie T. I could never understand why this was not on the marvellous (imo) FTI album. I know t...

Re: Comparing Alice and Alex Harvey

I never really thought of Alex's similarities with Alice. I just looked at them like 2 theatrical bands. Did Alex borrow from Coop?....maybe he did but I really love both bands. I didn't discover Alex until about 1980 and that was after seeing a band from Cleveland...the Paul Pope Band (ex Molkie Co...

Re: it really is Super Duper

I seen the movie this past Monday in Buffalo & loved it . The place it played was called the Screening Room and It looked like the place could only hold about 50 people and it was at near capacity(it also played their the previous Wednesday). I agree there should've been mention of Michael but then ...

Re: Special Forces

I had never seen Alice live even though I was a big fan but seen him in August of 1981 in the round near Buffalo,NY. I had 5th row and it was not what I expected at all. I liked his Flush the Fashion album but when he appeared onstage with that Special Forces look I had no idea what was going on. Fi...
