Re: Revival69: The Concert that Rocked the World
I just finished watching this off the link on the Home Page. Really very good, although talk about flying by the seat of Your pants! I enjoyed all the performances and it was nice to see some footage with Gene Vincent. Very recommended. Thank you for posting! I need to check the Latest News more of...

Re: CHEMICAL REACTION ( Rating The Un released and Bonus Cuts )
Has someone ever heard Nobody move from 1986? Is it a good song? I'm desperate to hear it, anything from constrictor up to last temptation i am desperate to hear demos/songs left off whatever. I love chemical reaction and 4th street could talk. hard rock summer is a massive cheese fest but one i re...

Re: CHEMICAL REACTION ( Rating The Un released and Bonus Cuts )
Slick Black Limousine ? In his book Dennis wrote about how Coal Black Model T (the original version of SBL) was the first song the ACG worked on for the BDB album and that the song originated with him. TBH I've never considered SBL to be good enough for the album but I do like the song. Ted One of ...

Re: "Road" - Reviews
Can I just spend a few lines to give my impression of "Road"? It's great! Get's Rockin' right from the start, the sequencing has a good flow. The Mix is Sharp & Hot! You can tell the Band was recording in the studio together. Glen Sobel's drum solo on "Magic Bus" is Moonie influenced! ****1/...

Re: "Road" - Reviews
I just watched an interview with MB and he says on the new album there's a song about a very lethal snake that kills you in about 7 seconds. Don't seem to remember anyone mentioning this here.

Re: Revival69: The Concert that Rocked the World
Thank you for that. Am I correct in saying the 30 seconds with Gene is the actual live music and the band on their own is generic stock? Hi pitkin88, Yes , live audio for all of the Gene Vincent footage and ACG seems to be generic . Tom Thanks Tom. Amazing what turns up. Do we see Alice shaking mar...

Re: Revival69: The Concert that Rocked the World
Not that I am suggesting doing this but: Is CraveTV available to stream in the US? No, CraveTV is only available to stream in Canada. However, you can watch CraveTV in the US by using a VPN to connect to a Canadian server. This will then issue your device with a Canadian IP address, so you can bypas...

Re: Revival69: The Concert that Rocked the World
I just watched this on Crave . There is maybe 8 or 9 minutes of Alice and that includes interview clips with him and Shep . There were a few backstage clips with people talking over the footage . Maybe 30 seconds of BeBopALula and She's A Woman . Fun clip of Gene Vincent reading the band's names of...

Re: Revival69: The Concert that Rocked the World
I'm hoping we see some of the footage with Gene Vincent and maybe the full set on a blu ray bonus. I can live without the chicken thing again and the bands music at that time,

Re: Road in the charts
I don't follow the live shows but isn't he playing a shorter set than usual? If so why would he not stick to the hits? I've read many times over the years he that " he has to play the hits ". Why would he change what he is doing because of Road? It's not like if he played I'm Alice and Big Boots the...

Re: "Road" - Reviews
"hypnotic and foreboding atmosphere", yeah you nailed it there, that's one of the pluses, that's a sound I like, and the lyrics are mysterious, abstract (I wonder how much input Dennis had on the rewrites, word-wise?). It and Fireball are my favorite tracks on Paranormal, I also like the bonus tune...

That's your poor education then. :teach: Hoots Mon! I bet you've got lots of cuttings you exchanged with Amuk from back in the day revealing the inroads he was making in Aberdeen and the Outer Hebridies. Gathering round the transistor in the school yard crossing your fingers he'd gone up a spot. Ea...

Re: "Road" - Reviews
C'mon they got a fair shake here. They could always do an album together without Alice. Bit like what SAHB did. I have been reliably informed that this was a joke and I totally missed it. My bad. I :smack: have to admit to have never having heard of The Sensational Alex Harvey Band until they were ...
