Re: Is there room for different types of fans? (long & boring)

I also agree with much of what Bob says. The part of the other thread that pulled me in was NOT anything to do with the "more dedicated then you" arguement, which I personally think is slightly rediculous. It was the factual errors and poor asumptions in certain posts (not Bobs as such if I recall. ...

Re: Kiss didn't make it.

That's a supurious arguement Renfield was on Alice's payroll. Apples and Oranges I'm talking about fans who want the best for other fans. Prime Cuts is a commercial endevour that did what typical Alice commercial endevours do - tease and not deliver. Prime Cuts was the perfect title. I wasn`t using...

Re: Kiss didn't make it.

I said i was working on a project which is hardly advertising it. I'm not posting any links to anything here. Why does Si allow You Tube links to illegally recorded concerts? Why does Si allow magazine articles to be shown? Does he get permission from each publication? Neither you nor Si have answe...

Re: Kiss didn't make it.

I don't have all day for this but to Si: TB posted an exhaustive audio/visual example so I would tend to believe him. I doubt he made it up. You just told me I'm wrong so as you say it's a stalemate. Oh, the example Bob gives is 100% correct. I have THAT version of the recording he talks about. Tho...

I think around 36 hours for one short show is my personal record. In Decemebr, in the snow.

Re: Kiss didn't make it.

To Si. You tell me I am wrong but give NO examples. Because if the people who do that suff wanted it to be public, they would make it public. I don`t NEED to offer you any examples. I just offer the information to correct your assumption. Maybe you can't due to fear of Alice's management. A pm woul...

Re: Kiss didn't make it.

I tend to agree with Toronto Bob. This Genesis project sounds similar to some of The Beatles ones such as Purple Chick and Lazy Tortoise. Lazy Tortoise focused on compiling cds chronicling time lines eg June 16-24 1965. They had press conferences, interviews etc along with detailed notes. Purple Ch...

Roxie Rocked Gothenburg. Great opening set, and a really cool aftershow at a local club where the band got up and played some more songs for us.

Why oh why are R77 not HUGE?!?!?!

That happened to Alice on the "Brutal Planet" tour, if I'm not mistaken.
Portsmouth, although ALice didn`t stop the show of course.

I've been told they do sell day tickets later, and that this years festival didn`t sell out. Just saying what I'm told. We're not even going to think about it yet!!!

Re: Was London recorded for a dvd release ?

Everyone needs to check their USB sticks bought at Hammersmith last night. They contain NOTTINGHAM, not Hammersmith.

Awaiting some comment on how they will fix this situation and will let you know what I find out.

Re: Was London recorded for a dvd release ?

Getting into the hall last night in London was dangerous. It is VERY lucky no one was badly hurt or even killed.
Yes, it WAS THAT BAD.
Worst case of ineptitude I have ever seen in over 25 years of concert going.

This one is a grey area. As long as it isn`t being linked to, or offered, I suppose it doesn`t really break the rules of which allow discussion of such items. I HAVE removed the email address as, if nothing else, I doubt Bob has permission to give out someone else's private email address to a forum ...

All this has been covered before, as that text is from an interview a few weeks ago. There's threads on "the new album".

The DVD is apparently to be filmed at the London show, so I've been told.

Re: Fistful of Alice

The show was aired in VH-1 in the UK and USA and was about 26 minutes.
Personally I must admit I didn`t think it as that great. It didn`t really give you a feel for an Alice show.
