I love this early ACG stuff, way more crazier (musically, visually & theatrically) than they were later on, which I also love.
I know what you mean.

Re: Respect to Rob Zombie - he's got class and principals
The great thing about that tour was that a lot of Zombie fans (kids) who may never have seen Alice live before had a nice history lesson. It exposed Alice to younger fans and was beneficial to Alice in the long run.

Re: Respect to Rob Zombie - he's got class and principals
yes, those are great interviews. In my opinion, there have been a lot of people in the music industry throughout the years that have been heavily influenced by Alice one way or another and refuse to acknowledge it or even Alice thereby attempting to take the credit for themselves. And/Or not even kn...

Re: Respect to Rob Zombie - he's got class and principals
Ok, I wasn't sure about that. Glad to hear it actually. (I don't mind being wrong here) For some reason I was under the impression that it was more of a Rob Zombie tour. (kind of like the tour he did with the scorpions in 1996)Most of the reviews I have read had Alice opening the show. Were there a ...

Respect to Rob Zombie - he's got class and principals
I'd just like to say thanks to Rob Zombie for telling it like it is and for all the support he has shown the Coop over the years. Many artists do not have the guts to mention the Coop being a main influence but Rob has always held nothing back on his feelings about the Coop. I'd also like to mention...

Re: Calico
I enjoyed Calico's many different roles in Alice's show over the years. Not that I have seen every tour but what I have seen she was an excellent addition. She is unique because of many years of dance training/experience and adds a dramatic flair to her roles. I did read somewhere that Alice had to ...

Re: Pretties for you! Your thoughts!
I like this album. It isn't perfect but it was recorded in 3 days...and it was the first time they had ever recorded an album. They produced it themselves, Frank did not do a whole lot if I am not mistaken. There is some amazing stuff being done on there. I really think some of that guitar work is u...

Ok, how does that example work?
Are you saying that Alice woulden't let the producers use "Man with a Golden Gun"?

glamprincess Where did I ever say that "Hope" was the same as "Attempting to force" the producers to use the song were the same thing? I agree with you they ARE not the same thing. I'm not changing anything that was said. What I DID say was that by recording the song before the Movie came out WAS an...

Re: The Man With The Golden Gun
How was I being rude? Did I say something derogatory? Am I not allowed to ask questions? Kevin asked me if I was following the thread as well. If you consider that I asked if you read my post rude why not others as well? I'm SURE they were hoping it was to be used (why would they create it and not h...

Re: The Man With The Golden Gun
What I did say that it was an attempt to force them to use the song. And hoping they would use the song is not the same as attemping to force them to use it. Did you not read my post? I said "You're right Guys, they wrote the song BEFORE the movie came out in hopes of it NOT being included in the s...

I diden't say they were FORCED into using the song...Like I said...that's obvious...THEY DIDEN't.

I am responding to the comment:
<There is no evidence that Alice Cooper band or individual tried to force the song on anyone.>
Am I not allowed to respond?
