Re: Bâloise session (ex AVO session) nov 4

I suppose Switzerland is excluded once more... silly little island. I tried registering but nothing, it still says I don't have the rights to watch it :( At least there are some videos on youtube from a person who was right behind me. I posted some in my review just now: http://musicaldragonlady.blo...

Re: Bâloise session (ex AVO session) nov 4

He, he I've recovered a little by now. :) I was looking into the Arte thing. It should still be possible to view it but only in France and Germany. Which is a bit silly since the concert took place here. Anyway all AVO concerts are aired in most countries. Just keep your eyes peeled. I get mail noti...

Re: Bâloise session (ex AVO session) nov 4

YES! The festival President is still the best! He came to us and explained he wanted us to get closer once the photographers left. He did the same the last time (especially that memorable Tom Jones concert) I spent the entire concert leaning on the speaker in front of the "Spider" device (on which A...

Re: Bâloise session (ex AVO session) nov 4

And in my case Switzerland, although I get an error messsage in the window (could be because I'm having problems with java). But Arte is visible in the whole of Europe maybe your local channel will have it too? Meanwhile I've been fretting, I know there's always been cameras at that festival and at ...

Re: Bâloise session (ex AVO session) nov 4

Oh dear! Better behave then... Not! :p All of the AVO concerts are being broadcast, I have most of the shows I've seen there on dvd, but I've never seen them live streamed, that's new. And very cool I'm not sure it will be available outside Germany but if it does you can all be there with us! Thanks...

Re: How the opening to the show could be better

In my review, http://musicaldragonlady.blogspot.ch/2012/10/alice-cooper-raise-dead-tour.html I was wondering if there would be a way to please people who don't like the tribute section. While keeping it in of course As I said I really enjoy it, but I can see how some will find it anti-climactic (sp?...

Re: Wembley

There was one night when they tried it. Well, Alice was talking directly into his microphone and he was on stage. Apparently they didn't like this version as the next night it was back to the "off voice" intro. For people who like such things, I've posted a review of my holiday: http://musicaldragon...

Re: Wembley

Has anyone per chance found a SickThings t-shirt on the floor after the show? We got ushered out so fast that I didn't realise I had lost mine. :( I rarely have a "favourite" shirt but I really loved this one. I wore it to many Coop shows. Then again it's probably been trampled and torn. Guess I'll ...

Re: Wolverhampton Gig

Spending a night in Frome before heading towards Bournemouth and doing some sightseeing. I haven't read all that others have written especially about Cardiff. Until now I didn't have any free wifi, and I only used my phone to communicate :) I am so happy that there have been changes, I don't mind se...

Re: UK Halloween dates announced

I usually find out the set list (here :) ) and make a play list on my ipod with these songs so I can try and memorise a maximum of the lyrics... :p

Of course I won't be able to do that this time since I am attending the first show of the tour (yay!)

Wonderful! Such a treat to hear Brian play this!

I'm not a musician so most of the time I don't really recognise a particular sound. Brian is the number one exception.

Re: Sunflower Jam

I'm not ashamed to say that when Page played this Chopin Prelude it brought a tear to my eye, he stole the show from Beck & Clapton that night. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eEmb14hCQGM&feature=youtube_gdata_player Amazing! Jimmy made me cry so many times I lost count. Especially live. He's still ...
