Re: Beasto Blanco

In the end it was actually quite warm for the season. The show was superb! They're really rocked the house down! I didn't realise there would be three opening bands, they were great but it meant beasto started at 11:30pm. And I had to leave soon after as I am working today. But not before saying tha...

Re: Beasto Blanco

Thanks for the review Si! I saw them on the first show of this tour. And it was also a bit empty. Thank goodness some of us hardcore fans were there and made lots of noise! This band is really fabulous, everyone should go and see them. The opening band is pretty cool too, they have a steampunk eleme...

Re: Thanks!!

Many thanks to all of you as well Kyler! Especially for braving the extreme cold last Winter here in Switzerland, without that show I wouldn't have seen Alice at all this year. And it made my friend extra super happy. Her first Coop show right on the day of her birthday, perfect!

Yes no one can compete with you guys!
Even if I had the time and money I don't think I could do this, I'd never have enough energy! I love the fact that I'll never have to go see Alice alone, you're always there for company. And usually a few others. :)

Re: Alice in Crans Montana 14 March!

Some of you might recall that when Alice played in Crans he borrowed a snake from the Lausanne vivarium and learned they were in financial difficulties. Some of the profits from the concert were donated to them. Well, I just read that they are saved now! They just got "bought" by a bigger institutio...

Re: Possible "Official" DVD of Raise the Dead Tour

That is correct. However it has to be said that (at least the version that was broadcast here) is not HD. The covers section is missing because it was omitted that night due to time limitations (double headline show). But apart from that a great recording and fun to watch (my personal opinion which...

Re: Stage moments

One part that I've always loved is when Alice turns around for the first time with makeup on Trashes The World. Always gives me chills. :) Always loved that (video) moment. Really marks that moment when he goes insane and all. One of my favourites has always been Dwight Fry and the straight jacket....

Re: Rock Meets Classic tour 2014

OK. Strasbourg was expensive but not unexpectedly so.. Zurich on the other hand... 400.- ($ or CHF same thing) for the front seats! And the next best seats are still 150.- The cheapest crap seats are almost the same price as the better ones in Strasbourg! Sigh, I am hesitating to spend so much on a ...

Re: Rock Meets Classic tour 2014

At other such shows artists have played mostly their big classics, as you say it's so non fans can recognise the tunes. And according to my friend they always close with a big jam session on the main artist's big hit. My money for this is on School's Out of course. Not a big Kim Wilde fan but I am o...

Re: Rock Meets Classic tour 2014

Thanks for the details Kyler! I was discussing this with a friend who's been to several of these shows, making "bets" on which five songs would be chosen. It's different and a bit short for us fans. But having seen videos from other Rock meets Classic shows it should be fun. I'm sure to go to the Sw...

Re: UK 2013 - Yes or No ?

Oh dear! And here I was still hoping for early November dates maybe, mostly because I'll be in the UK then and it was my only chance to see Alice in the UK this year. :( I am holding out buying plane tickets for my trip because I am waiting for news. I guess I'll just have to decide something by the...
