Re: A Paranormal Evening At The Olympia Paris DVD / Blu-Ray release
I just don't understand why everyone is banging on about the colour so much. It was clearly done as an artistic choice. I happen to like it, gives the performance a cinematic edge. Isn’t this a discussion board? Pretty sure it is.. It is a discussion board, but a very technical discussion board. If...

Alex, why going through so much trouble, just ask Dr. Dreary, right here.
In topic ´´The Fam´´, there is a discussion about chickens. You will get an answer straight from the horse's mouth.

Re: New OG Album
Come on pitkin open your mind! How have you never noticed the George Thorogood influence in Blue Turk? ;) What GT has to do with BT? All I was saying is that both songs have a sexy sound, D and in love has a bluesy sound and BT has a more jazzy sound. Anyway, this is my favorite song on the new alb...

Re: New OG Album
It was written by and features Dennis, so used creative license and included it, as one that could conceivably have been on an ACG album. Same with the Sound Of A Thankfully Dennis didn't play on the pants pissing song. A pity he didn’t as it’s a fantastic song 👌🏻 I agree. Drunk and in love is a gr...

Re: New OG Album
Loving this song order! If this hypothetical album had been released and marketed as a "reunion" record for the original lineup, how would it have fared? What would the reaction have been? Would it have been considered: a) a flop and a missed opportunity like The Stooges "The Weirdness"? b) an enjo...

Re: Touring band to feature on next album!
Good for them if it happens. Was hoping for a horror-oriented new album, but with a title like Road, it will be something else.

Re: I Hate You
For me, that song represents what was a band in the seventies, a real band... not a boss with his employees. A bunch of guys with talent, a love for music, but also a desire for success, money, girls, etc... They were a bunch of roosters, and sometimes roosters fights each others, just add drugs and...

Re: Overdue a biopic?
Maybe because Alice doesnt seem to like much/any information of his drugged up days (i can only guess because it would conflict with the image of the perfect family man he likes to push) aside from that potential area he appears quite dull as a person who watches tv allot. (not exactly riveting for...

I lied. Well, the guitar solo is good, but I don't really like the song. I was bedazzled by the video, it's the only explanation, that I can think of.Rhapsody of Fire wrote: ↑Sun Feb 07, 2021 3:21 amVery good song. Congratulations to all the musicians who were involved.

Re: Overdue a biopic?
It would be like a bio-pic of Keith Moon - so far-fetched most people wouldn't believe it! In my opinion, the best way, perhaps, to present an Alice Cooper bio pic or facsimile thereof, would be to have Alice as a sort of Cryptkeeper, and present it as an anthology horror film. Cryptkeeper

Re: Social Debris
For now, pandemic songs are more popular than anthemic songs. In this time of confinement, curfew, etc... no concerts, can't even sit for a coffee at your favorite Starbucks, the release of a new album is like a breath of fresh air and hope for the return of a normal life. So, thank you, Alice.

Those two clowns were annoying back then in 1992. Today, they are just pathetic. I watched the movie just to see Alice. Same thing for this Ad.

The only persons interested in the story about the ACG are here ....and even then... Re: comparing ACG to Alice solo in terms of rating enjoyment
The ACG made music that was pure rock and roll, barely blues-based and not a hint of folkie sentiment. They just blastered your brains with sound. They had also the violent theatrics, that intrinsic coldness, that changed the rock scene for ever. I believe that this was Alice's approach, and Alice S...

Re: An Alice Cooper vinyl box set
Mega box was touted in the past when it was more feasable but I can't see it now. These things are pretty pointless anyway as they are so expensive you'd never play them. Besides you have to be wary of the mastering amongst other things. Better to seek out the originals rather than have this gather...

Re: New single - 'Our Love Will Change The World'
I don't watch videos when I listen to music. Regardless of the visuals in the video, this has zero ---absolutely zero--connection to his horror character. His delivery, phrasing and overall tone of the song is far from "horror Alice". Much in the same way his delivery and phrasing on most of "Trash...

Re: New single - 'Our Love Will Change The World'
First, in my opinion, this is not an ''Alice'' album, but an Alice Cooper album, almost a Vincent' album. This is a tribute album to Detroit's music, and Detroit's musicians and to Detroit itself. I can also see a reference to all that Covid situation. As for this song, I didn't know it, so I checke...
