How are your two daughters doing? Is Renee still in Asheville working with the ASPCA? I hear you got a new puppy. How many furry friends do you have currently? BTW...I invited your mom to join the 'Shiny Dime', but she hasn't responded.

The Pachyderm in the Room
I am sure you have not been asked this question in the last 10 minutes or so....and I know it gets brought up to you on Facebook and other social media all the time, but..... Do you see even a glimmer of a chance that the surviving originals will get together and produce an album totally of songs cr...
No offense Bob but why do you feel you need to hijack a thread. I'm sure Dennis can make up his mind if he wants to answer a question or not. I don't think you have added anything to a question or asked Dennis a question so what gives?
I believe I am not interfering with Dennis ans...

Dennis has collected far more than records. I'm hoping that someday the Dr. Dreary "Museum makes its way to Arizona. I can't wait to see the rarely seen Electro Lucent Mind Machine. I know he has it stashed away.

Re: Snakes, Guillotines and Ezrin on Keyboards
On Dec 25 and Dec 26 the band played the Eastown Theatre in Detroit with Bob Ezrin on keyboards! Do you remember these two shows and if so? Couple of things here... 1. SOMEONE should really invest a few bucks and buy Dennis' book. If you can't find a copy cheap, let me know. 2. HEY - ANDY MICHAEL!!...

Hi Dennis, 4) Also I believe it's the 50th anniversary of LITD so congratulations on the first masterpiece. It was a put-down, meaning something like lame, that Glen used. I don't know if he made it up or if it came from a Bowery Boys film or something. I guess I should ask the other guys about it's origin. Janice (Glen's sis) and Neal agree with your definition. "A square guy. Someone who does ...

Re: The Buxton family homestead on Gardenia Ave. Having visited this "shrine" many, many times :) ...I was told that the Earwigs occasionally practiced INSIDE the garage! Knowing the temperature extremes of the Phoenix, AZ area, I wonder if at any time paramedics were called due to hyperthermia, hea...

Unsolicited and Unreimbursed Plug
As I am sure you are aware, original band roadie Mike "AmpBoy" Allen is writing a book about his experiences with the band. (Latest update...he has some nibbles from publishers). Do you think he has some juicy stories to tell...and maybe some deep secrets to reveal?

Thanks for taking the time here... I didn't discover the music of Alice Cooper until 1977 when I was 14/15 years old. I especially loved the original Alice Cooper Group's music & I used to go to half price bookstores & buy old issues of Creem, Circus, & Rock Scene magazines to read articles on the ...

Sadly pitkin is correct...I remember going to see Alice in Glasgow a few years ago, the OG came on towards the end for the set they did. I was buzzing and turned to a stranger and said "this is amazing, never thought in my days id see the OG"...I got a look as if to say "Who?". The curtain at the b...

Re: I Hate You
It is one of the weak spots on the album. The end of it is definitely well meaning but definitely not in the top half of the songs on the album. Im surprised at its inclusion as no one knows who the band are. Yeah..... why waste a track talking about those OG guys. They are just some 70+ year old r...

Re: I Hate You
The inclusion of Glen's name in this, or any song, must be upsetting to a couple of members here. LOL To Glen: Dennis: "We hate you, we hate your sneer" Alice: "The cigarettes, the smell of beer" Neal: The mutton chops, the switchblade knife" Mike: "Your unapologetic life" All: "But most of all we'r...

The only persons interested in the story about the ACG are here ....and even then... LMAO....good one. :rotfl: (Andy Michael must have fainted when he read that) Open your world young man........the 'Glen Buxton Shiny Dime' awaits you. Oh, my sides are still hurting from laughter.
