If you have the correct pass (either "paid for " laminate or other "cloth" pass) then getting to the designated area should not be a problem. At each venue the security supervisor is given a sheet which details the various different passes that they can expect to see - guest, VIP, all access, etc - ...

Far as I know the best seats (ie. Front rows) will have been allocated to the official site to sell and Live Nation / Ticketmaster's allocation will be further back. This was certainly the case when the UK shows went on sale last week.

Whilst I can understand the wish to have seen the shows of the 1970s and the ACG at their best-been a fan since 1972 myself. I would only change one show of the 104 that I have seen and only because it was ruined by an idiot fighting in front of my 8 year old on her first Alice show in Southampton....
