Re: Alice Cooper Setlist/New Tour Comment
^^Yeah. So glad that happened. And to think I almost didn't go, because I didn't want to be for a shortened show. And then Go to hell and He's back... the icing on the cake. That night couldn't have been better. Don't ever think you're too Jaded to see a show. The night out is an adventure. Some go...

Hellfest 2022
With all of the discussion about "Road" I think the Video of "Hellfest" has been overlooked. I took my time getting to the DVD. Wanted to hear "Road" a few times. I saw this tour a month or 2 before in MD. Glad to have seen a full set!
Well shot & some great tight shots of all members. ***1/2

Re: Alice's Band Mates: An Appreciation
Always thought Orianthi was a great guitar player and wished she stayed with Alice longer and had the chance to write with him. I thought she was a more classic rock / blues based influenced player. She could rip it up when she had to but steady rock chops were her strengths. If the opportunity eve...

Re: "Road" - Reviews
I personally think the Hollywood Vampires will get more prominent than solo Alice from here on. Who knows if Steven Tyler will be able to perform again, which will lead to Joe Perry being available 12 months per year. Gotta say, that they blew me away when I saw them in Glasgow earlier this year, g...

Re: What's the farthest you've ever traveled to see Alice?
I think you may have gotten the topic wrong... the prize is not how far away but, how near did he play? Travel makes the Concert not just an event but, an adventure. Nothing wrong with that. Who will top whom? I've never left the Free State for a show but, the last time I saw Alice he played less t...

"Billion Dollar Baby" is OK, but, don't stop with Dennis' book you need to read "Golf Monster" also!Agrophile in Texas wrote: ↑Fri Sep 22, 2023 11:37 amIt wasn't until 2023 that I got into the lore - I bought Dennis' excellent book - been slowly going through Billion Dollar Baby, and reading the material here.

Re: "Road" - Reviews
Can I just spend a few lines to give my impression of "Road"? It's great! Get's Rockin' right from the start, the sequencing has a good flow. The Mix is Sharp & Hot! You can tell the Band was recording in the studio together. Glen Sobel's drum solo on "Magic Bus" is Moonie influenced! ****1/2...

Re: Love it to Death Question
Thanks for the reply and a pretty darn quick one at that. So if LITD wasn’t successful you were pretty sure WB would give you another chance ? I don’t think that luxury exists in the record business anymore. And that’s a shame because bands need time to develop. But I’m not sure in the case of rock...

Re: Alice appearing on upcoming MC5 tribute album
Guessing Wayne Kramer will be on the track ( paying tribute ) to himself and whoever played on the Road track. The Great Zal Cleminson is on the album which is unusual as I thought he had retired years ago. Another Alice Cover...... You a fellow SAHB fan? I wonder how many of those are on here? I t...

Re: Hollywood Vampires "Live in Rio" 2023 release
Maybe kind of a rude question, but is Joe Perry a bad guitarist? I know he's had a wildly successful, decades long career but I've been listening to some of his live stuff and they don't sound very good to me. Maybe it's just all in the eye (ear) of the beholder, or maybe I've just watched too many...

Re: band logo
On Pretties For You, we had no say. We used the Doors logo font for Easy Action. Love it To Death was handwritten to look more personal from Alice the character. For the following album, I wrote the name to look like a ransom note from a Killer. Then it was carved into a school desk. Then it was st...
