Re: Alice on ESPN College Game Day
It was funny Danno...I got up made some coffee and puttered around a bit. Then about 9 am I hollered at Sharon and said "I'm goin out to my shop to watch Gameday" Watched for a while and drank my coffee. Had a couple of little chores I needed to do out in the yard. So I thought, "well I'll get these...

yes...I'm sure. Beyond skank. Looks like Barnabas Collins never saw Jayne County when he said Alice Cooper was the ugliest women he ever saw.

Re: Album Idea
Apart from Patti Smith, who I mentioned earlier, I'd love Alice to work/duet with Yoko Ono, Tori Amos, Diamanda Galas, Bettye LaVette, Kathleen Hanna, Siouxsie Sioux or PJ Harvey. Mature, feisty, extremely creative, female musicians, who'd twist off yer goolies should the words 'hot' or 'chick' be ...

Coop and Iommi! That's something I've wanted to hear for years. Also Alice and Lady Gaga doing something would be amazing in my opinion. Hey! now you may be on to something. Alice and the "All Hot Chicks All-Star Lineup" Duets with Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Rhianna, Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus, Fergie e...

Re: Album Idea
Thanks for info Mr D-funnily enough on a thread I started recently Brutal Planet shows up as the last AC album I consider top class. However, I have liked some of the album content since. Re duets, just reconsidering, I would not want an album of duet ballads. Oh come on now, be a sport. Any duet h...

Hi Mr D what about a duet you think would work-positive one- sort of funny what you are saying like but was beginning to wonder whether you have posted under another name previously= just a hunch? yeah some know me as MrDemeanor but everyone just called me MrD. Went away for awhile and came back as...

Re: Album Idea
How bout Alice and One Direction doing a whole album of hits from the Monkees. Oh do keep up, Mr D, One Direction are so 'last year'; it's The Vamps or Rixton! (And you may scoff, but I reckon it's odds on that a Monkees song will make the covers album.) Anyway, Alice could always go down the Barry...

Re: Audio Snippet Of Alice's "Eleanor Rigby"
Just listened to the clip. I rather like it. Been reading some of the posts too. I think there are a lot of "maybe's" here. Maybe that's the way the producers wanted him to do it. Maybe that's the way it turned out best after several options. Maybe Alice felt that the song deserved a similar renderi...

Agreed. Especially when at the same time KISS were tearing the world a new one with kickass rock ,leather, fire , bombs and blood. And there's Alice with his dancing chickens. Unforgivable.

Re: Brutal Planet vs. The Last Temptation
Brutal Planet is probably my 2nd favorite AC album of all time. Coming in 2nd only to Schools Out. And probably the last tour he did that was actually based on the album. Back in the day the albums were soundtracks to the supporting tour. 7 of the 12 songs on BP were played on the Brutally Live show...

Re: Lace & Whiskey and Maurice Escargot
Lot of KISS bashing going on and that's fine. When I was 16-17 years old they WERE the 'hottest band in the land". Had really surpassed Alice as far as fan base went. The early KISS albums although poorly produced were actually pretty good rock albums. Short catchy R&R songs. Some songs like "100,00...

I think DT is a damn fine album. Actually it was BP and this one that really got me back into the fold after a couple of decades.

Re: Lace & Whiskey and Maurice Escargot
This was around the time KISS replaced Alice as my favorite live act and most played music. Gene Simmons was on stage breathing fire and puking blood playing hard assed rock and roll and in the meantime Alice is onstage playing disco and dancing with chickens. It was horrible. A couple of pretty goo...

Re: The worst Coop song of all time..........
This is just too easy. DEEPER Shoey, stating the obvious. :p If anyone recalls the time we did Song Wars years ago, Baz voted for You Gotta Dance and Si had Ubangi Stomp as first exit songs. Now, I don't want to speak for Si, who knows, he may actually be diggin' some Stomp these days. And we all k...

Re: The worst Coop song of all time..........
Someone mentioned Ghouls Gone Wild earlier and although that maybe not the absolute worst song ever it is very representative of the type songs I just hate. I know he's trying to be funny but there is a line that should never be crossed and the line is the one that separates Alice Cooper from Weird ...
