Re: A Paranormal Evening at The Olympia

It shouldn't be out here either. Release date in UK is also 31st. Amazon haven't sent theirs out yet, and I doubt anyone else should have done. If they have they shouldn't have done. Sorry, I was trying to help but the U.S Amazon site listed 8/31 right up front so, I presumed that it had been. Had ...

Re: A Paranormal Evening at The Olympia

I had preordered through Amazon.com.au but I received an email today telling me that the CD has been cancelled. The CD has been deleted from a few Aussie sites. U.S. release date isn't until Fri. Already released in the U.K. w/shipping available to the U.S. So sorry to hear of your difficulties but...

Re: Cold Cold Coffin - Dennis Dunaway

I hope/believe I know who it is (It's up to them to reveal that if they wish) and if correct they are welcome here. They are closely connected to Dennis and I assume just trying to help promote DD's project and make sure everyone is aware of it. Nita's kickstarter hit it's target within a few hours...

Welcome to the Forum Cold Room.

Re: A Paranormal Evening at The Olympia

Just CD. While I still love vinyl, I recently bought 2 "New" & sealed vinyl Lp's at a record show. My findings are that the process isn't much different than previously used. A warp on 1 caused a skip & there's nothing that can be done about that. But, when buying "Used' you can look for a serious ...

Re: Another 3 RHINO rocktober vinyl releases

As far as I know Rhino was an independent that specialized in obscure & "Out Of Print" releases. They were so good at it that WB bought the company & opened the WB archives to them. So, I believe that anything beyond a WB release would have many "Rights" issues.

Si, you've done well with updating the site. AC on the Homepage never looked more intense! The Latest News scrolling by at the top of the Forum leaves little room for missing the homepage action. ;) The Twitter feed (even though I detest Tweets) keeps me up to date w/AC & the Band even though I have...

Re: 4 new albums announced

isn't it another company now ? and Paranormal was a new cd with fairly great success, which is a different setting than the combo's you've mentioned... Only guessing of course .. Well Yeah, sort of Shep - (& A.C.) has the luxury of shopping around for distribution. However, at this point I don't th...

Re: Sorry,....Hollywood Vampires....

I have nothing against HV. But, the way I see it, it's not a band, just a big fan club, in fact, 3 fan's clubs. The fan club of Alice, the fan club of Joe and the biggest of all, the fan club of Johnny Depp. In my opinion, people go to see Alice, Joe or Johnny, not the HV band. Actually, real fans ...

Re: Vampires Tour - going?

I meant to comment on your comment about Johnny Depp. When I saw the Vampires in 2016, I was really impressed with everything about him. He not only plays well and is charismatic, but he was engaged with the audience the entire time: pointing at people, high-fiving people, posing for their photos, ...

Re: Long-time Alice Cooper artist Airic Brumitt needs help

This reminds me of Howard Stern. His long time engineer's wife recently was battling cancer (she passed away a couple of weeks ago sadly.) . He set up a gofundme page because her costs were astronomical for full time care, transportation, etc. People jumped all over Howard's case only because "he d...

Rhino rides out a Monkees faze every so often. RIP Davey
I believe WB acquired Rhino many years ago & they've been dipping in the archive ever since.
Maybe they should celebrate a Master :alice: by dusting off the old WB Masters!

Re: Recent Purchases

Nice score on the School Days - here in Canada that album was not easy to get by the late seventies. I finally bought a used copy around 1985 paid $15 for it which I considered a good price. It's the one item I took to get signed at an in-store appearance AC did promoting TLT. What's the label on y...

Re: Elected Re-Recorded?

The album mix would not have worked well with mono AM radio. I find the elected and UMW single mixes the most different from their album versions. My 1st record player (mono) was a hand me down from Grandma  with tubes & a "railroad spike" for a needle! ::((: The album mix didn't work well o...

Thanks,
Watched a bit yesterday but, once you get past the first minute or so you're in for 12.
The DD tour clips are short & sweet but pretty essential.

Re: I still think Paranormal is mediocre........

Paranormal is a good album for a 70-year old rocker and aside from that just okay. Alice is leading a lifestyle today that isn't compatible with great creative output. Just comfortable, golfing every day, performing at night, shopping, spending time with family. What kind of creative angst or energ...

I still think Paranormal rocks harder than W2MN.
