I'm also unsure as to how many people would class Zombie Dance as the best song on Dirty Diamonds.
I agree!

Re: Under My Wheels - Twist and Shout Ending

I haven't gone back to check, but I think it was started on the No More Mr. Nice Guy Tour, which is also when the "School's Out/Another Brick In The Wall (Part 2)" mashup started.

Re: Alice Unplugged

A lot of KISS fans thought KISS unplugged wouldn't work at all, and that album is, IMO, one of the best KISS albums.

Re: New song and video "Don't give up" coming!

Back to the song, I assume Alice is currently camped up in Phoenix so it was interesting he implied that he was in Detroit at the end. In the SiriusXM interview, he mentioned that the song was a finished song, "Hanging By A Thread," that he and Bob reworked into "Don't Give Up" and released now. I ...

Re: The Blackout Box - Wishful Thinking

Which brings us to Dada. Alice's masterpiece. For all intents and purposes there were three people involved in making that album. Alice, Wagner and Ezrin. I don't think Alice will ever go into detail about it, Wagner is gone which leaves Ezrin. Wagner is gone, but he left behind his book, Not Only ...

Re: New album.

https://rockmusicstar.com/2019/07/11/hollywood-vampires-rise/ What is most surprising about ‘Rise,’ is that the album was essentially recorded only using a laptop and a SM-57 microphone. All the songs were cut live in hotel rooms, with minimal auto tuning or time correction. It was later decided to ...

Re: 65 Quid For an Autograph!

I always thought it was more for the forgotten stars to make an extra buck and not for the populair ones. That hasn't been true for at least ten years. The convention circuit has exploded for film, TV, and rock stars. Some of them can make some serious money over a weekend. As bigger names have joi...

Re: ‘Ol black eyes is back Tour

Great show in Louisville last night! Funny moment right near the beginning when Alice throws his jacket behind him, Chuck catches it, tosses it behind him, and it comes straight back down and covers his head. He left it on for a few seconds before pulling it off, then was laughing for about half the...

Re: Tour 2018!

It was this Instagram post from Glen Sobel, posted five days ago from Bordeaux, France. But there's no indication of when the video was actually shot, as he says it was their day off, and he was going through stuff on his phone. So yes, at some point, Calico's path crossed with the tour path, which ...

Re: ‘Ol black eyes is back Tour

Being a little farther back from NotSoPerfect last night in Nashville, I could see that the song got a little reaction, but not a whole lot. I loved it. In fact, I loved the entire show: the set, the setlist, the show itself. All fantastic! I had managed to stay semi-virginal re: the show (avoiding ...

Re: Rise - First reviews

Yes, the vocals on many of the songs are, IMO, way too low in the mix. "Heroes" is another (and Joe's whining guitar is too loud and annoying on that track).
