Bootlegs!!
Hi Dennis How did you feel when you saw/heard the first bootleg of the band? Were you flattered or annoyed? Intrigued or uninterested? Do you have any favorites? I only ask as I’ve been fascinated by them ever since I was a teenager and got into music. My friend took me to Camden Market in London an...

Re: "SO" and "Killer" Expanded editions
Do you think there’s any possibility of any of the other albums receiving a similar treatment?

Re: Credits Again!!
Thank you Dennis, I’m really grateful for you taking the time to answer questions like this. These things have been rolling around my mind for ever since I was a teenager listening to your albums on my trusty cassette Walkman. And thank you Ted for negating my fears that this was a stupid question t...

Credits Again!!
Hi Dennis, I was wondering if you recalled who wrote what on the first 2 albums. I know on the Lps all songs are credited collectively but I’m making the assumption that different members were the genesis and driving force behind different songs. From articles, books and records I take that Ten Minu...

Re: Saga of Jesse James
I know what he means. They both have that strummed acoustic guitar with a similar chord progression in the verse. BODF starts on a major chord rather than a minor though. They’re in different keys too. That’s it, nothing more. If it’s anything it’s a nod to the past rather than a retread.

I love these albums too. In fact PFY I’d one of my favourite Alice lps. I still remember the first time I listened to it late one Saturday night huddled in front of my parents stereo in the dark. I love the whole strange atmosphere of the record. I was already primed for what it would sound like hav...

14. Lace and Whiskey 15. Hey Stoopid I know its all opinion, but wow. i never thought id see someone who liked lace and whiskey more than hey stoopid (or pretty much any alice album hahaha). i like seeing other peoples lists, they vary so wildly. To be fair it could go either way with those. I don’...

Re: Snakes, Guillotines! On Audible
Well you can tell them both they’ve got at least one automatic sale after they publish. Cindy’s would be an interesting one, an insider’s view that’s just enough removed to to show how it was to experience the moment while not being part of the band (although obviously playing an important role). Th...

Snakes, Guillotines! On Audible
Hey Dennis I loved reading your book when it came out. I thought it was one of the best rock bios I’ve ever read! I listen to a lot of audiobooks at work on my phone and I’d love to hear your read through of your book. I do periodically look for it on Audible or Apple Books but I’ve yet to see it. I...

The New PopOff Books
I’ve just taken delivery of these two and started on the second “Feed My Frankenstein”. Is there a shortage of proofreaders in the world at the moment? I’m only a few pages in and it’s a really annoying read. Whole words are missing from sentences which disrupt the reading experience whilst my brain...

Re: "Only My Heart Talkin'"
I like Alice for his songs, not his stage show. When & where was the last time you saw AC & Co. "Live"? If not, then why the suggestion? 2012 opening for Iron Maiden. You said it wouldn't go with his show. That is why I said I like him for his music. I’m confused. Why do you want him to play it liv...

Re: Bob Ezrin, Before and After
My point is, I've worked with other great producers, and all of them are swift problem solvers, but the depth of Bob's musical abilities has always been exceptional. We had some similar situations and it’s great to have a producer who not only knows their stuff, is on the ball enough to spot things...
