Just read this from the NY show tonight:
"Joe Perry left stage in middle of first song. EMS on scene immediately . Show didn't stop."

Re: Alice's Facebook Page
I quit following the page. It's bad enough my Timeline is filled with people who have absolutely nothing to say reposting click-bait links and stupid memes. I don't follow official pages just to have MORE of that crap.

Re: New Album!
So according to the internetz and my Facebook news feed, the original Alice Cooper is reuniting and recording a brand new album which will be "Killer 2" and will practically be embarking on a stadium tour.

Re: Is The Casual Fan Ruining Alice Cooper?
My point was originally regarding Alice. Three guitarists is ridiculous. If two cant do the job then something is wrong with the players. I did like it when Bow Wow Wow and The Glitterband had two drummers though. I don't see why this implies something is wrong with the players. If something was "w...

"Flush The Fashion" was actually a bigger album than "From The Inside," in the U.S. at least.

It would be a little ironic if they did "Suffragette City."

"Well time to eat my words. Alice did a good job (with Duff's help) on Ace...
Of course they couldn`t help but shine on a show so truly appalling as this one, but I thought they did a good job."
This performance was no where near as energetic as the Eagles tribute to Glenn Frey, of course.

Waters actually was the singer on "Shine on...." Gilmour sang it live after his departure though.Babysquid wrote:
I wonder how long before they correct the bit about comparing him to Roger Waters original lead vocal when it was David Gilmour.

Re: This Pink Floyd Orchestral Album
On some of the more recent albums/projects it does sound like Alice's vocals are "sweetened" in some places. So he might not rely on autotune but it's possible some "fixes" are done here and there.

Re: Alice and the Internet
The internet is a double edged sword, no doubt. On one hand, we know that downloading and streaming have impacted income streams for many artists. On the other hand, I think that Social Media has also helped artists like Alice, who was getting very little support from record labels in the early 2000...

Re: 1995 Monsters Of Rock (toured with Ozzy)
There is 1995 Monsters Of Rock footage on Youtube. I'm surprised that Alice was very good onstage, because I remember Ozzy Osbourne once spoke badly of this Alice's show (see link below). I don't know why Ozzy said so bad things about Alice (with Manson) It still embarrass me. By the way, in mid-80...

Re: I suspect a new album is already being prepared...
I think the way it works with a lot of artists these days is that the recording costs are covered by the artist themselves or investors. Bands on a label still receive advancements but it's not as much as it used to be. Some bands do crowdfunding or front the money themselves but it's mostly indie ...
