Re: The first time you saw Alice live....

First and only time I've seen him so far was Stockholm, 2005, Dirty Diamonds tour. Wig Wam opened.
I had a blast.

Is Anyone Home?

Does anyone know the story about "Is Anyone Home?"? I mean as in why a studio song ended up on a live album, was it new or had it been written and/or recorded earlier (the Wexler/Saylor co-writing seems to suggest that it might have been written during TLT) and so forth.
Just wondering.

he has done this before with "brutal planet"-although it was just the intro bit as he walked off the stage, right? same concept though. no, i don't believe he did this during the brutal planet tour. Well, they played the intro to Brutal Planet again with a fake Alice coming down the stairs as the re...

Re: ** SPOILERS ** - July 31, 2009 - Elizabeth, Indiana

Now the ultimate thing would be to follow this tour with one more focused on the recent albums. Si just reminded us in another thread of how the show was supposed to be a sort of "mini trilogy" until it took this shape. Why not go all the way and have a trilogy over three years (or tours) :8): That...

Was Devil's Food preformed in full with lyrics?

Sounds like a great show, hopes they come by Sweden eventually, even though it's a little sad there's only four songs from the post '70s eras.

Re: New album on the way!

Firstly, I was not the one who brought up ACAS at all. Other people were discussing it and I understand why they did because it related to the new album that has been mentioned. I'm sorry if you interpreted that part of my post this way because that was not my intention. The reference to me thinkin...

Re: New album on the way!

As for ACAS, I thought the concept of a serial killer was an interesting one but I felt it was not explored deep enough. The storyline had some holes, I think, in part because nearly all serial killers are sexual predators and the story did not really address this area. I don't know if Alice avoide...

Yes, they did use it during the Mechanical Animals/Rock Is Dead tours 1998/99.

Given that he plays keyboards on that song while Paul Horrowitz plays on the rest on the album does seems, to me at least, like it was the music he was involved with.

Re: Original version of "Escape"

KISS must have bought King of the Nighttime World outright, because IIRC, Stanley has the writing credit on that one. HA HA Kiss - what a scam they were. Actually he only has co-writing credit (along with Bob Ezrin, Kim Fowley and Mark Anthony) and in all fairness the KISS version is a bit rewritte...
