Funny this thread is getting a "revival" now, as the cruise was cancelled months ago...

Re: Who would you like to see warm up for Alice?

I think a blond folk singer with an acoustic guitar would be good-nice contrast and a touch of irony. They actually tried to do that sort of "contrast" thing in Basel last year . As far as I can tell, it did not work at all. Luckily the show was seated so we spent most of the time before Alice went...

Re: Who would you like to see warm up for Alice?

Have you heard his latest album? One of the best out there! Also loved Teenage Revolution, so much Alice in that song! No I didn't realise he has one out. He is not very popular here in Germany, so you wouldn't know about new releases unless you're looking for it... Teenage Revolution is one of my ...

Yes that would also be very cool

Saw him 3 times with Hanoi Rocks opening for Twisted Sister on a Club tour in 2006, and really enjoyed it.

Re: What is the line-up forthe 2013 dates?

I think so too. For all I know there will be the same band lineup as last year for the Switzerland show next week, and I don't see a reason why that should change for the summer dates right now.

Re: Alice in Crans Montana 14 March!

Thanks for posting :) God, is this late again... Almost like in Avenches last summer. At least we don't need to leave early the next morning this time, but we are planning to go skiing, and usually we're the first ones out there in the morning. Not sure if we'll make that under these circumstances :...

This might just be about to happen :) Take a look at the new banner on the Tour Terror page on AC.com

Maybe the problem is that she offers no arguments to support her opinion? After all, "WORST album ever" is quite a strong statement...

Yes... as far as I know the Furka pass is closed all winter. However it might be an option to use the base tunnel ("Basistunnel / Bahnverladung") - depending on where you start from.

Danielle, maybe it's just me - but you do seem to be a little narrow minded. We are all big Alice fans, but that surely doesn't mean you have to demonstrate disrespect for every one else?

Re: No opening Is a Good thing

I must say I agree with Patrick77. Having seen so many Alice shows, Twisted Sister were one of the few opening bands I absolutely enjoyed. In fact, I knew absolutely nothing about this band before I saw them at Brighton for the very first time on that tour. Been a big fan ever since... i know the sh...

Re: Alice in Crans Montana 14 March!

Yes, you don't normally think a lot about these things. We had a flat tyre after the show in Avenches last summer... Modern cars do not have a spare tyre anymore! At first we didn't think that was a big problem. But it turned out it is nearly impossible to get a tyre in Switzerland on a Saturday. Af...

Same with me. Loved it from the beginning. Of course there are some songs/sections I like better than others. Whatever, I'm still listening to it regularly

Re: Alice in Crans Montana 14 March!

From my experience I can tell you they take every pains to make sure people can reach the ski resorts without trouble... Our apartment on the mountainside is close to a main road leading up to 2 high situated ski resorts and when there is snow during the night they start clearing the roads at 5 a.m....

Re: Alice in Crans Montana 14 March!

According to the festival website, there are several stages (2 bands playing before Alice). As for driving up there, I wouldn't worry too much really. I spend half the week on the mountainside during the winter, and as long as there isn't heavy snow, road conditions are normally quite ok (though of ...
