Re: The Alice Cooper album of the Day: ALONG CAME A SPIDER
Shame the album doesn’t match the Brilliant cover and package That is almost the biggest problem with the album. The build up, including the mini-movie, was brilliant - but the album didn't delver on the promise. That's pretty much my sentiments exactly. A friend and myself did a video ranking the ...

Re: Songs You Would Like to Hear Remade?
I'd like to hear the entire Constrictor album played with a real drummer and the bass turned up.

Re: Am I The Only One Who Liked W2MN?
I think it has about 5 really decent songs on it. The rest is pretty much filler. The makings of a great record. I also thought the bonus track 'Under The Bed' should have been on the actual album. Great Desmond Child era sounding tune.

I'm not sure what it is you're saying. I've seen Rob get through entire shows recently?Daggers & Contracts wrote: ↑Thu Nov 10, 2022 12:51 amAlice is 3 years older & I do realize that Rob has vocal cord nodes.
But, Alice can still get through a complete show.

There's no 'supposedly' about the better sound. Any side of vinyl which surpasses around 20 minutes will result in inferior audio.

Re: Alice inducts Judas Priest
Just found out, Alice's speech and JP performance and thank you's here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rpq9MvlvP7Q Awesome & well deserved! Too bad Rob couldn't get through 3 songs. Saw him with AC for Operation R'n'R & the 2nd half of Priest set was "Sing along w/Rob". So, I do understand but, wh...

Re: Vampires UK tour dates just announced
Agree with all the sentiments above. I no longer go to these types of shows. It's a total rip off, from the farcical way companies like Ticket Master buy their own tickets and re-sell them on a site that they own?! (How is this even legal??)... to the ridiculous price of a single pint of beer in the...

Re: IDEAS FOR A "CONSTRICTOR REDUX"
Forgive me if i'm wrong, but I did hear something to the affect that the multitrack tapes may have been destroyed in a fire. I've often hoped for a remix, or as Si suggested, just replacing the drums. Some great songs for sure, let down by a thin production.

Nita was an exceptional addition to the band. Took her some time to gel with the others, but the past few years has seen her flourish.

Just saw this. They've clearly worked at it in rehearsal and rightly added some keys and percussion to back him up so it's not so naked. Huge improvement.

It has to be said that Kane looks a bit nervous up there. I fully expect him to relax the more shows he plays. Must be pretty hard to be performing at shows of that magnitude after such a long time.

At home, i'll listen to Vinyl. The only other time I get to listen to most music is in the car, in which case it's either CD or Apple Music.

Re: Setlist
Enjoyed the Manchester show. Disappointed that the set list seems to be identical to all the other shows, completely contrary to what Alice promised. But that's becoming a recurring theme. Shame the set was pretty short. I thought Fallen in Love and Shut up and Rock sounded great in a live setting. ...

RIP Meat Loaf
For me this was a sad loss. Obviously his career had many parallels with Alice, not to mention the film Roadie which I still think is somewhat overrated. Jim Steinman was a well known fan of Alice and i'm sure there was a lot of influence taken with the Broadway nature of his shows.
Rest in Peace.
