Re: The worst Coop song of all time..........
I remember listening to Constrictor with my mouth wide open - in shock.. DADA was just so damn clever, artistic and mature.. Pretty much everything on Constrictor made me cringe a bit.. A true songwriting decline - monumental... However, I can still listen to "Thrill my Gorilla" over "Ghouls Gone Wi...

Sorry for that, my hideous mistake!
Knew exactly what you were saying - and the song.. I'm assuming you're right.. Sounds logical.

Re: Raise Your Fist & Yell adoration thread.
For me, this release was hit and miss. The best material was on side two of the album; Prince of Darkness, Time to Kill, Gail, Roses on White Lace.. Really great stuff, but you had to wait to get to it.. Hate the album cover.. The tour - best I've ever seen him.. So alive and hungry.. Guns and Roses...

Re: ALICE Says Covers Album Features A 'Jaw-Dropping' Lineup
Alice seems to do a pretty good job as far as cover versions go, I'm surprised there's a bit of eye rolling with this project. I really liked his version of "Break on Through" performed with Robby K when he was on tour - I'm really hoping that's on there. I liked his vocal performance of Start me Up...

Re: Record Label
My "flimsy Theory" was just me thinking out loud.. I'm not going to grind it into the ground, because like you - I really don't know.. Not like it's going to make the album come out any faster, and it's certainly not worth having a pissing match over..

Re: Record Label
My first thought was that if there's an all star band, there could be contractual obligations to other labels by one or more of the musicians who played on this project. That could slow up the process in getting this released. I only say that because I don't think it's been mentioned yet who is actu...

>I've just been scolded by two people for calling Alice "Vince". I don't think I was scolding you - I just wondered why you would call him that. I see or hear it happen now and again (as does Alice) and it's just a weird thing to do unless there's an agenda (and I'm not saying you have an agenda). ...

I've just been scolded by two people for calling Alice "Vince". Had no idea this was an issue.. Did not mean any disrespect..A_MichaelUK wrote:>Vince seems pretty passionate about that era,

Re: Your biggest disappointment in Alice's career
Biggest disappointment has been that Vince seems to be writing material targeted at a very young audience. With my own age at 47 - I just really can't connect with the new stuff at all.. One of the reason I don't post here, is because of the statements above, referring to Alice as Vince, it is clea...

Re: Full Album Performances - What would Be Least Popular?
I think DADA would work (artisticly), if it were done acoustic in small venues. Something like that would be interesting to see, though I doubt many enough are familiar with that album..

Re: Alice Cooper's DaDa- Albums Unleashed w/Dick Wagner
This album was in no way a "cash grab" or something intended for a specific demographic. It's an interesting artistic piece, and it's nice to see some attention being paid to it's existence.. Pass the Gun Around, and Former Lee warner are both just perfect in every way..

I'm looking forward to this. Vince seems pretty passionate about that era, and seems to have fun with cover versions.. I actually expect this to be pretty good..

Re: Alice Cooper Plans Covers Album as Next Release
I don't think the ACG fans mean to disrespect Alice when we say that we long for some sort of reunion. I'm also a fan of Alice's solo work, and I can honestly say that since "From the Inside" came out, I've bought every AC solo album (with the exception of one) on it's release. That's being a fan of...

Re: Alice Cooper Plans Covers Album as Next Release
I think it's more of an issue now (a wish to be more precise) with older fans, since the induction of the Alice Cooper Group into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Since then, there's been a bit of activity that has the boys all together again. That's something some of us NEVER thought we would EVER s...

Re: Love It to Death - Manufactured by Capitol.?
Yep, looks like my copy of Love It to Death - with the slightly different shade of green and brighter orange on the label. The only difference on the album cover itself (that I noticed) was the number 16 (in white on the black) on the inside of the gatefold in the lower right hand corner. Album cove...

Love It to Death - Manufactured by Capitol.?
This is basicly for vinyl collectors. There is a version of Love it To Death out there (USA) which was manufactured by Capitol Records, and carries a Capitol records catalog album number (SKAO 93734) and not the warner Bros number. It still has the olive green WB label, though at the bottom it state...
