Re: Message from Shep

Hats off to Shep, it shows a level of consideration to the fans, that maybe some don't always appreciate is there. After hearing the negativity that was being aimed at the show, I must admit I was almost relived that this was the first year since 82 that I could only attend just one show!!! My doubt...

Re: Sounds like Alice Cooper

'i live in the same city as him (Bath). For anyone interested, he drinks alot in The Bell and The Porter Cellar!'

What a small world it is, I live a few miles from Bath in a village called Box, where Peter Gabriels recording studio is and of course he has been 'produced' by Ezrin as well!!

The One Show played a small extract from the new DVD this evening. It looked good and had an October release date on the clip.

Re: Box office Count

'Does it really matter how much money is generated from Alice's shows?'

As I have said before, the information is in the public domain, and I thought it would be interesting to share this.

Re: Box office Count

Right, I think I need to make myself a little clearer. The reason I posted the information from Music Week was because it was Alice related and to ME interesting. The attendance figures were published along side the gross figures, so I used this information and posted it on this board because, one, ...

Re: Box office Count

As previously stated these figures do not give any breakdown on where the money goes and what percentage may or may not go to Alice. The information the promoter supply is voluntary, they give the information to Music Week, if they don't supply it, it doesn't get published. As regard to whether the ...

Re: Box office Count

'does that gross figure include merch sales? or just ticket sales? and what do these gross figures tell us? it *maybe* tells us how much money came from tickets sales. ok, big deal. it doesn't tell us about artist fees, booking fees, venue fees, production fees, accommodation fees, promotion fees, ...

Re: Box office Count

As 'Live Nation' supply the figures for Music Week, I am in no position to dispute them and have to take them at face value. Music Week is the UKs music industry weekly magazine offering data analysis, charts and music industry news, its similar to Billboard.
