Re: Hey Stoopid Expanded

I really like Look At You Over There Ripping The Saw Dust From My Teddy Bear. I don't think it was put on Special Forces because it didn't really fit in with the other songs and not because it wasn't a good song or performance.

Muscle of Love Album released 40 years ago

http://ultimateclassicrock.com/alice-co ... e-of-love/

Despite containing what are in my opinion 2 classic tracks Muscle of Love and Hard Hearted Alice and one good single Teenage Lament the album overall is a disappointment when compared to Alice's 4 previous albums.

Can't name just one. For me it's the Hunter/Wagner combo. Fitted together perfectly, both brilliant players.

He should have just recorded Born This Way and released it as a single. I LOVE his version of that.

The whole album is a mish-mash. Different styles of music, some great songs (My God is one of them) and some tripe IMO.

Re: My God

I've always thought that if you took the best songs from "Lace And Whiskey" and the best songs from "Alice Cooper Goes To Hell", you'd have a terrific album. Maybe, someday, I'll try and come up with a track sequence--but "My God" would most likely be the album closer. Goes To Hell is a terrific al...

Re: What's Next for Cooper

"What's your problem with Alice doing covers? I think he's doing them rather well" Glad you like them, but I disagree. The covers he has been doing on tour and in recent one-off shows, I felt were rather uninspired, in that he mostly did faithful renditions of the songs. I just don't see the need f...

Re: FLAT OUT

I am a big BOC fan and ACG fan (obviously as I post on here) but I don't like the Flat Out album. BOC used to play Born To Rock live but I have to say it's a dog of a song IMO.
