The Louisville Palace is an amazing place to see a show (any show). Would love to see Alice perform there again. Same with the Ryman in Nashville.

The Special Forces tour. That's one of my favorite albums, and Alice never played anywhere close to me. In fact, it wasn't until years later that I found out there'd even been a Special Forces tour.

Before the Elizabeth show, I got to hear the band soundchecking with AC/DC's "Have A Drink On Me" and Van Halen's "Hot For Teacher," in addition to several Alice songs. It was great fun, and they sounded fantastic, as you'd expect.

About 6 or 7 T-shirts (including "The Nightmare Returns" shirt with "Tour 1986--1987" on it), a pin set, the "Along Came a Spider" CD, and the Alice bear. That's all I saw, merchandise-wise.... All the shirts were black.

From what I overheard Calico say, she and Tiffany will be trading off different shows on this tour. Calico has something else in the works that she couldn't talk about yet. I noticed that the new guillotine is a lot more effective than the last time I saw the guillotine used. Very cool. It was a fan...

I also attended the dress rehearsal, thanks to Matt, and had a blast. It was cool seeing the "candid" Alice on stage, because we never see that during the actual shows.

I'll never forget when Brian joined my original SickThings mailing list. The quantity and quality of the posts shot up dramatically, and it was a great time to be a SickThing.
