Re: Glasgow's Halloween Show

My son will be dressing up, I believe. Myself and my other half will not.

Re: Playstation AAA

You're under no obligation to spend anything in the application. If you do want to dress up your 'Home' or yourself, you will have to pay for the premium items - I think you get some basic items free. It's not different to what you get on the Xbox in that respect, although Home is a lot more than ju...

Re: Calico Cooper

No problem. I'll keep you all posted if there seem to be any delays with the launch.

There's also new online content for Tommy Henriksen on the way, but I'll tell you more about it nearer the time. :)

Re: Playstation AAA

Well they targeted the younger generation before with Alice being on Guitar Hero, so why not get in on it again?

I might just have a little wander around Playstation Home tonight and see what's there.

Re: Playstation AAA

Yes, Playstation Home is like a virtual world on the PS3 where you can walk around and interact with other people, play games and generally chat. You can also buy things to dress up your avatar and house, and watch game trailers, movie trailers and more. It certainly is a different kind of promotion...

Re: The Frankenstein monster was loose in downtown Columbus

I saw it backstage at the Download Festival and it looked awesome. Completely motionless, but awesome nonetheless.

Re: 100 Club

All I know is that it is not Slash - the folk in charge of Alice's FB page stated that it was NOT him. Plus the pictures posted were of an SG (or SG style guitar) and not the Les Paul that Slash plays.

Re: Glasgow's Halloween Show

Thanks. Last time I already had my tickets, so I didn't need to use the box office, but I do remember having to go to the main SECC for something (and having to put up with all the chavvy Lily Allen fans!).

Re: Glasgow's Halloween Show

I can't remember if there is a box office at the auditorium itself, or do we have to go into the main SECC? Anyone know?

Re: Glasgow's Halloween Show

I don't think it would be appropriate for me to take my son to a pub in Glasgow, lol, but I am certainly open to meeting folks outside (and inside) the venue.

We will be the folk with a miniature Alice Cooper (my son wants to dress up, and it's Halloween, so why the hell not?)

Re: Glasgow's Halloween Show

I knew that Sick Things were all awesome!! :) Thanks a lot. My son is a big fan too - watches my DVDs regularly and is a bit annoyed that I saw him last time but didn't take him. You can imagine how he reacted when we told him we were standing next to the band backstage at Download!! lol

Glasgow's Halloween Show

Well I just booked my tickets for the show in Glasgow, and I can't wait. What will make it even more special for me, is that it will be my son's first concert ever (he's 8 years old). I do have a concern, though. I'm not bothered about him being younger, and I made enquiries last time AC was in Glas...

It wouldn't be the whole ToD show anyway. He may use it to try out a few new things (maybe even a preview of new material), you never know.

Re: Alice at Download!!

Alice will be headlining the second stage on the Saturday and Rob Zombie will be headlining the same stage on the Sunday. It's a pity they won't be playing together.
