Re: rare interview Alice & Cindy Lang

I think they have been drinking - well, I think Cooper has (don't know Cindy's sober personality).

Thanks for the clip Steven, I always wondered what she was like and we getter a better idea here.

Re: Poison Live.........

It doesn't work live for me; A) Cooper struggles to sing it and B) The vocal harmonies just don't get re-created. It seems to be a studio creation and is rather 'flat' live to me.

Re: Special Forces

There isn't a track on it I don't like, although the deflated version of Generation Landslide was uneccessary in my opinion, and the two prior to that seem like they were 'leftover' from FTF sessions. Also, You're a Movie can be a little 'trying' if you are not in the mood I suppose :-/

Re: Special Forces

When I first heard it (the day it was released!!) I was a little disappointed (particularly the production) after the brilliance of Flush The Fashion , but since the 'new wave Alice' was/is probably my favourite era (and yes, this was my first Alice live experience too), I like it of course. The onl...

Re: new Uncle Alice promo (the best so far)

SOOO CORNY!! I cringe when I see Alice do stuff like this - it's such a dreadful self-parody! To be honest, to me, it almost belittles the legacy of The Alice Cooper Group. Sorry, that's my honest opinion.

Re: Question for Si really.....

..I tend to only come here for discussion to be honest..oh, and maybe to check up some historical facts from the largest source of AC information on the net. I like to see the news in my newsfeed. Just want to say 'Great site and AC work in general Si, you have maintained this over the years with in...

Re: Question for Si really.....

The "central location" is the news page haha No, I think you misunderstand;I meant a central location for stuff like this for ME. It's nice to have one newsfeed page with all items of interest to me filtering through rather looking in my email as well for sickthings news etc. Thanks Si, it's great ...

Re: Question for Si really.....

Was already aware of the announcement lists (of which I am a member), and knew about RSS feeds; I just wondered about facebook that's all as it's nice to have a central location for stuff like this.

Apologies, I looked, not in groups, but in pages and found a 'Alice Cooper's SickThings' page that didn't look like it filtered current news. Thanks Si.

Re: Alice Cooper Plans Covers Album as Next Release

I'm OK with it actually; the main thing I like about Alice is his vocals - particularly the expression, so personally, for me, I think he could 'Coopify' a lot of stuff and improve it.

Re: Alice and Paul

Agree Gunner, Paul makes a lot of sense. People often underestimate rock stars but to keep going for 40 years these guys need to be street wise, smart at business and pretty intelligent. Paul in the second part, i think, burst the bubble a bit of Gene being a marketing genius-although I am sure Gen...

Re: Billion Dollar Babies - 40th Anniversary

I have a few eras I would like to time-travel to now, and the era of this tour is one of them.

I believe the reason this show didn't come to Britain is because of that MP and Mary Whitehouse? I was too young anyway at 9!!

Re: Easy songs on guitar

To be honest, I have only ever tried 18, Ballad of Dwight and Spirits Rebellious (am a singer and keyboard man mainly); 18 is pretty easy, Ballad - VERY easy and Spirits seemed tricky from what I recall. Often when pieces are transcribed, they are approximate, done 'by ear' (of course) and simplifie...
