Re: Not this time
What if... Alice came out and played "Pretties For You" and "Easy Action" in their entirety? Sure the hardcore fans would say "Yes!!!!" I was at a John Fogerty show where Bonnie Raitt opened and he did NO CCR tunes, it was announced in the media before the show. What did I hear the audience griping ...

My Grandmother purchased mine for a birthday present. She had some reservations. However, I assured her it was Ok.

Re: Big Apple Dreamin'
Muscle Of Love was my 1st AC Group Lp, I already had the Teenage Lament '74 single (W/HHA as the B-Side), played it every chance I got. Unfortunately scratched Big Apple Dreaming badly-so much that I traded it to the Record Co-Op for 50 cents(the cover was still in decent shape). Replaced it later w...

Last show I saw was Halloween 2002 (Oct.15) at Merriweather Post in MD. Great show - Eric Singer on drums. Ticket says Row S but I was only 5 or 10 rows back with another SickThing next to me and I got to push the Balloon! They had a whole Halloween Fright tour set up for the public so we got to enj...

Regardless of how anyone feels, it was a big hit for him and it's one he really HAS to play, although I wish he would change it around a little bit. Will see how it sounds next month. June 20 cannot get here soon enough!  :alice: That's right Tuney just ask JC Fogerty about NOT playin...

Re: Special Forces
Scotty, I'm amazed that Alice found more than one theater in the round to perform in. Painters Mill was the only one in MD (that I knew of) many bands bring their own turntable to perform in the round as part of their set. The Beatles 1st show in DC was in the round but Ringos kit was on a turntable...

Re: Special Forces
Scotty, was it "Painters Mill" in MD? The place was in the round and was MY 1st Cooper show also. Didn't have front row but was still excited to see him at last! The venue accidently burned down about a year later and was never replaced. What a shame.

Re: 1000 users!
Is Coop playin' at the "Pub" where there is no Wifi nor Cell nor Internet service?
Sounds like a place we are all too familiar with in our dealings with Alice.
I guess the more accurate question would be how many active members actually log in on a regular basis?

Thank You GailsFriend, my point exactly - except much more eloquent.

Re: The Alice Cooper album of the Day:WELCOME 2 MY NIGHTMARE
Can we stop flogging the dead horse now? May we continue on our like/dislike of the Lp? If a characterization of a song as silly isn't enough detail, can we let sleeping dogs lie? Our descriptions of how we feel about an Lp (or song) are our own. I like the album - it has some very interesting idea...

Re: Billion Dollar Babies - 40th Anniversary
Missed the tour myself. My 1st ACG Lp was MOL and was a birthday gift from my Grandmother (14th) so when I got my hands on B$Bs, I was amazed at the packaging. Pacific Eye & Ear did a great job! I was disappointed with other Lps that didn't include such goodies. B$Bs didn't need 'em - just a sweet ...

Re: Album of the day:PLATINUM GOD
Brings to mind what a great guy Neil is. When a local DC area band, DC Star, was playing a club near where Neil lives, the drummer busted his snare and w/music shops closed at the time the club owner called Neil and he loaned the band his snare for the evening!

Well, just shut the door on this one. The Dada God has spoken & dashed our dreaming. It would be a cool tour & maybe as alternate headliners out of respect for each other?
