Re: Cold Cold Coffin - Dennis Dunaway

I hope/believe I know who it is (It's up to them to reveal that if they wish) and if correct they are welcome here. They are closely connected to Dennis and I assume just trying to help promote DD's project and make sure everyone is aware of it. Nita's kickstarter hit it's target within a few hours...

Re: A Paranormal Evening at The Olympia

It would’ve made more sense to record one of the UK shows featuring the original band because it would’ve made this release much more essential and important to the discography.

Re: A Paranormal Evening at The Olympia

First review I have seen https://www.loudersound.com/reviews/alice-cooper-a-paranormal-evening-at-the-olympia-paris-album-review Spot the one awkward mistake Besides the mistake of missing the 1 track from Paranormal that is on the live album, this is a pretty spot on review. "Pain" and "The World ...

Re: Tour 2018!

I do very much wish that Pain was still in the setlist. I'm not really surprised by there being no change in the setlist last night from the previous run of dates, since it is a continuation of the same tour. And more importantly, everyone was CRAZY BUSY on the "break" from this tour. Yeah, just wi...

Re: Tour 2018!

I was going to go to 3 of the shows in the next 2 weeks but I’m passing. So disappointing to see the same setlist/show for the last 3-4 years with little changes. I’m glad I went to Nashville last year because it was really special to see the original lineup perform. Until more reunion shows or a fu...

Re: Tour 2018!

Just as an FYI to anyone going to one of the first two shows of the upcoming leg, Nita has posted that she will be missing those two shows to attend her sister's wedding. Darned fine reason to miss, I'd say! I might have to catch those first 2 shows then! She should feel free to take some more time...

Re: Sorry,....Hollywood Vampires....

I I also saw bucket head and wow, yeah the guy is nuts (on stage and in studio at least) but man he can play like no one else. he was fantastic, not G'N'R for sure but amazing and Chinese democracy is a stunning album on its own merits. (but again its all just my opinion) Chinese is the only GnR re...

Re: Sorry,....Hollywood Vampires....

Nita Strauss at the end of an Alice show always gets the second loudest response from fans (right next to Alice of course). She is a tremendous talent that has added so much to Alice's band in my opinion. I was recently having a discussion with a group of people who spent as much time talking about...

Re: Tour 2018!

I expect more or less the same. Alice just wrapped up the Vampires tour and is only taking about a three week break or so. There may be a song or two changed such as they did "Serious" the last leg of the tour. I could see them bringing back something like "The World Needs Guts" (which I prefer to ...

Re: Sorry,....Hollywood Vampires....

First, let me say anything the great Nita Strauss is involved in, I am buying. I can't wait for her solo album and I love what she has brought to Alice's band and I hope they do an album together as I miss the soaring guitar solos, etc. I don't have a ton of interest in the Hollywood Vampires proje...

Re: I still think Paranormal is mediocre........

I think the first half has some decent stuff, the second half sounds like it falls apart (Although I really like Private Public Breakdown.) I think a couple of issues here are that Alice doesn't seem to have a real song-writing partner anymore (I know you could argue Bob Ezrin is, but how much is A...

Fireball puts Paranormal miles ahead of W2MN just with that song alone.

Re: Ryan Roxie: "This is Alice's most cohesive band"

I’m fine with Nita being absent from the studio albums as I’m not a big fan of her style of playing. Tommy wrote a lot of songs on Paranormal

Re: Tour 2018!

I'm worried audiences are going to not go as much because its the "same as last year". They should do a tour with the original band to get some more publicity

Even just a few MINOR alterations to the set would make it a much better show Paranormal (up to "you're never alone..." and sesueway into NMMNG) NMMNG Wheels B$B Dead Flies Serious Be my lover Fallen in love Poison Halo Frankenstein Roses on White Lace Ethyl OWB Paranoiac Personality Dwight / Dead 1...

Re: Tour 2018!

VinceLeeRose, The setlist isn't horrible as you make it, I saw him last year in Mansfield w/ Deep Purple and it was a really really basic setlist. At least this year we get 3 additions Serious, Fallen in love, Be My lover. An I highly doubt that the original ACG band members are going to join in on...

Re: Tour 2018!

I love Alice, but I'm sorry, that is a horrible setlist. Yes, I understand he's not going to be playing 2 hour plus 30+ song shows when he's in his 70's, and that there are songs that he HAS to do (SO, NMMNG, B$B, 18, etc...) but what is the fascination with songs like LOST IN AMERICA and WOMAN OF M...
