Re: Rank All of Alice's Studio Albums Based on Your Preferen
Thanks for everyone's responses so far. As others have said, my list is subject to change a little as well. The reason I was hoping for good response is really to see what albums seem to consistently appear near the Top (or the bottom) of most fans list. It made me think about which albums are consi...

Rank All of Alice's Studio Albums Based on Your Preference
I know this might take a moment, but one of the great things about Alice is the diversity of his music. Rank all the Alice albums in order of your personal preference (Favorite Alice album-1, etc). Let's stick just to the studio albums for this one (no live albums, boxsets, or best of greatest hits)...

Re: New Alice fan... what album should I get next?
It is always great to have new fans, especially those that are going out and seeking all the albums. From the Inside is probably my favorite Alice album of all-time and Dada is brilliant as well. I don't have a preference between the solo Alice albums and the original band (which I know puts me in t...

Dada is a favorite of mine as well. You definitely should consider picking up "The Last Temptation" and "From the Inside."

Re: Why was Trash such a big hit over the superior Hey Stoop
Timing was part of it. The musical landscape was beginning to change. MTV played "Poison" quite a bit and I recall "House of Fire" getting a decent amount of airplay too. Though "Love's a Loaded Gun" is one of my favorite Alice songs, it didn't get much airplay on MTV (when MTV still mattered) and n...

Re: Your biggest disappointment in Alice's career
I liked the hair band years. It was good to see Alice doing fun, catchy tunes again. They were smart albums for him to do and I agree with a few others on "Raise Your Fist and Yell", terrific album. Yes, some of the albums with the original band were classics, but I think you have to be able to move...

Hey Stoopid Opinions?
I know a lot of fans claim they dislike the hair band years, but I have to respectfully disagree. While I thought the "Trash" album was kind of bland as a collective whole, I think "Hey Stoopid" is one of Alice's better albums. "Might as Well Be On Mars" is terrific and I love songs like "Wind-up To...

Alice said in an interview he did, promoting the new tour that he would never retire. I don't have the link, but it was the one he did with Tommy Lee.

Re: RYF&Y. vs. Dragontown
RYFAY by a long shot. Brutal Planet was such an epic album and I thought Dragontown was nowhere close to being as good as that album. RYFAY was a very entertaining album that blew Constrictor out of the water in my opinion. I still enjoy revisiting RYFAY from time to time.

Did Anyone Receive Any Alice items for Christmas This Year?
I was wondering if any Alice fans received any new Alice items this year for Christmas? I didn't have any new requests on my wishlist this year, but I was wondering if perhaps some other fans got some new Alice swag?

Re: Noisecreep: 10 Most Underrated Alice Cooper Songs
That is a solid list by Noisecreep, but they missed the boat on "The Last Temptation" album. It is a lot more "hit" than "miss" and is one of Alice's best albums ever. Here is my Top 10: 1-Crawlin' 2-Nothing's Free 3-Generation Landslide 4-Who Do You Think We Are 5-What Do You Want From Me 6-Love's ...

Re: Brutal Planet vs. The Last Temptation
Lost in America is a fun song that always worked well live. It didn't exactly fit with the sounds of the rest of the album and is one of the weaker tracks on the album but still good stuff. "It's the Little Things" doesn't entirely fit with some of the other songs on Brutal Planet either. It is a li...

Re: Brutal Planet vs. The Last Temptation
This is a tough one because I would rank both of them in my Top 5 Alice albums ever. I would have to pick The Last Temptation if forced to choose. It has some of the elements of early Alice, while also sounding modern as well. I would love to see Alice bring back "Nothing's Free" into the setlist.

Agreed. It is my least favorite of the original band's albums, though Teenage Lament'74 is one of my favorite Alice songs ever.

Re: Be Chrool to Your Scuel
I recall that the video for "Be Chrool To Your Scuel" was banned on MTV. In regards to Tim's question, unfortunately I don't think it would have helped sales for the "Constrictor" album that much. It is a Twisted Sister song with Alice doing a few vocals with Dee Snider. It might have helped slightl...

Re: Your favorite HIGHLIGHT of Alice's career...
His return with the Constrictor album was definitely a highlight, but I have two others that standout. Though I personally liked the Constrictor album and still to this day love RYFAY, I was thrilled when Alice returned to platinum status with the "Trash" album. It was great to see him get a lot of ...

Re: Your biggest disappointment in Alice's career
Thanks for the feedback Andy. I didn't mean to come across arrogant if that is the way it came across, I apologize. I did a poor job of explaining my Tunica argument. What I meant to say was Tunica was a great draw for him and then no tours for a decade. I think some markets get played out for a whi...

Re: Your biggest disappointment in Alice's career
The good has definitely outweighed the bad, but I try to be objective when it comes to things that disappointed me as a fan. 1)The Operation Rock N Roll Tour. That tour had financial problems basically from day one and was poorly conceived. I am not saying that was Alice's fault in any way, but the ...

Re: why do people hate ACAS?
In my opinion, the songs just aren't there. Vengenance is Mine and I Am The Spider are the only two tracks that I really like on that album. The production is very poor on the album as well. From Hey Stoopid to the present, I really think Alice has been on a roll, but ACAS is the one album I never l...
