Re: Alice headlines Cropredy

We're planning to go. Depending on what else is going on in August, we might also do all 3 days. The fact that they only sell tickets for the entire festival doesn' make much of a difference to me since I've never bought day tickets because they go on sale much later normally (might never happen whe...

Re: Who would you like to see warm up for Alice?

I'd love to see Motorhead tour with Alice. They could do a co-headlining tour. That would be my ultimate Rock n'roll dream. They did a UK tour together in 2007. We got crushed at the fron barrier every night. It was a true nightmare :alice: Also, it's fine to see Motorhead every now and then, but s...

However was that around the time he had a throat infection? The throat infection was in August 2011. By end September (when the video was shot) he had pretty much recovered from it. I haven't had the opportunity to watch the video in full yet, but judging from what I've seen / listened to, he sound...

Re: Johnny Depp's surprise appearance at the LA show!

Or maybe the venue should just have a list of names and Seat numbers on a list and have their tickets in alpha-numeric order and as the person goes up and shows ID, they then pull the correct tickets and give them to the person. They had this in the UK. When one set of our tickets were placed under...

Re: Welcome 2 My Nightmare NO WHERE NEAR as dark and cool as

why does it have to be as dark as the original? the nightmare should be as HE sees a nightmare, not as the fans wish. It makes me laugh that people think there should be a set of rules as to how this record goes...if it was just like the original,he would be blasted for merely remaking the original....

Re: Cut Down Alice Cooper "Old School Reissue"

Received mine from Amazon.de today. Very nice indeed... The booklet looks pretty much like a smaller version of the one in the original box set. Haven't compared them page by page though.

Re: Brutal Planet Songs Live

He did Brutal Planet and Wicked Young Man throughout the NMMNG Tour and up to the first couple of UK shows in October.

I would LOVE to see Gimme back on the setlist again though (Pick Up The Bones would also be cool but I doubt I'll ever get to see that live)

Re: Bâloise session (ex AVO session) nov 4

Since Alice was using his own backdrop throughout most of the show (you can see that clearly on the video) I would guess that the shortened set was due to time limitations. Probably they start at 8 pm every night and with only one support band and a headliner that's fine, but with two headline acts ...

Re: Bâloise session (ex AVO session) nov 4

I guess it IS somewhat easier in Europe to do many shows in one tour than elsewhere... It is true that cities here don't tend to be so far apart. That's probably the reason why I've never been to the states. BTW, going to another country doesn't necessarily mean travelling far... For example, Basle ...

Oh sorry! I always mix up 9 and 5. I checked but yesterday I was having very low blood pressure and that often kills all my concentration. Thanks for the correction! You're welcome. I just thought I'd put the correct date in here... Especially when the website says the nights are programmed around ...

Hang on, Stefanie Heinzmann opening? Excuse me? Did these people even realise what they were doing? Personally I don't mind her at all, but she's a local pop act, I think she won one of these TV show or whatever (I don't watch TV) This is going to be .... er odd? I agree. They have absolutely nothi...

Re: Bâloise session (ex AVO session) nov 4

Very interesting. Toby mentioned they were planning a show in Basle on the 4th, but I was a little surprised when I saw this. I'd rather expected one of the known venues (like St. Jakobshalle or Z7 in Pratteln)... BTW, tickets go on sale at 8 a.m.on Wed September 5 (not 9), according to the festival...
