Re: Toronto and the Gruesome Twosome

Kind of odd that it was there, then. what show(s) did you see this? every show i've seen have used simple stage lighting, nothing more. All four that I went to. Perhaps you are taking my usage of the word "video" too literally. What they had was moving images reflecting off of the backdrop behind t...

Re: Toronto and the Gruesome Twosome

But I bet a Cooper show could be done brilliantly with a video backdrop ... Zombie does it well from the little I've seen, Manson used it brilliantly from '07 and in neither case does it remove any element of theatre to it - on the contrary, it helps it when carefully used to compliment the action ...

Re: Alice cutting his set on Zombie tour?

[quote="sammysausage76"]I was checking out the setlists and it appears that Alice has the same setlist on the Gruesome Twosome tour and Alice only shows, is this confirmed, I would think that it would be a full show with more songs added back. I hope the songs make it back for the summer shows witho...

Re: Alice cutting his set on Zombie tour?

Does Anyone know why the last couple Alice sets have had some songs cut or why the set list has switched up? I really hope he continues playing Killer and Department Of youth. I'll be at the last date of the G2some tour at Artpark in Buffalo. Any info would be appreciated. They shortened the set a ...

Re: Gruesome Twosome Setlist

So good.. Going to the show i norway in june so i will buy there.. I like the way we can buy the "bootleg" on the way out :bam: if it's an official item, then it's not a bootleg. I think that's why he put them in quotes. I think this is a brilliant idea, and I wish they would have thought of it a w...

Re: Gruesome Twosome Setlist

What about usb-sticks. Do they sell it on this tour? Yes. You can also preorder them. I'd suggest going to the show first, though. I thought about doing preordering for the Wyoming show, but am glad I didn't since Keri's guitar kept going out. I'm hoping for a longer setlist this summer so I could ...

I remember that.

I was hoping they would do the full set in KC since Alice was solo. I understand why they didn't, but it still would have been nice.

Re: Gruesome Twosome Setlist

They played it at the beginning and end in KC on May 8th. correct. i should have stated that it had not been played twice (to my memory) before casper, wyoming. i still don't recall it being played twice in casper. and that is a song one would remember. Maybe the shiny suit scrambled my brain.

Re: Gruesome Twosome Setlist

Alice opened with School's Out tonight and did not play it again, tho Zombie closed the night with his version. Dirty Diamonds was replaced with Elected. He still threw out necklaces, just during Elected. I'd like to hear "Elected" again. I have to say, I'm a bit curious as to the setlist for Rockf...

Gruesome Twosome Setlist

I went to the Casper, Wyoming show on Wednesday. I've been reading around that Alice cut four songs and also the second "School's Out". When I saw them the did the second "School's Out" but not at the end, instead it was the third to last song. Has he done this at any of the other shows? The other b...

Sounds cool. I remember him talking about doing a '40s radio theme for the next tour, which ended up being the Theatre of Death. It sounds like that me be the next tour concept.

I know that he's doing a shorter version for Rockfest, since his set is only scheduled for 1 hour an 10 minutes. Sad.
