Re: 65 Quid For an Autograph!

65 pounds for an Autograph is hardly a small price for an autograph. His signature is not even that good! At least Si agrees with me. It's not a small price at all, and you can get official pre-signed stuff for about half that amount. I guess the difference in price accounts for the experience of m...

Re: 65 Quid For an Autograph!

To confirm, you pay £65 for a personal autograph and £75 for a photo (or £175 for both plus "gift") plus the entry fee of £18. Much cheaper than a concert meet and greet, but still a LOT of money for many people. People with decent disposable income will happily pay though as many will see it as a o...

Re: New Last Temptation on vinyl.

Another question is what would this be the anniversary of? I guess a late 25th as the album first came out in 1994. What's also odd is that it's already listed for sale here, but appears to be the same as the 2016 release: https://www.fridaymusic.com/product/Y4LPFM0355/alice-cooper-the-last-temptati...

Re: New Last Temptation on vinyl.

Another Last Temptation? I'm getting to the point where I'm probably going to stop collecting the re-issues unless there is something really notable about them. It's a vicious circle as if you keep buying them they'll keep making them! This is an odd one as Friday Music already released a blue gatef...

Re: RARHOF Alice Cooper Fan Day - Live From The Astroturf / Cold Cold Coffin

I can't speak on their behalf, but a potential problem with Kickstarter projects is that you can offer bespoke incentives without knowing how many you'll sell. If only a handful are ordered then it may make production of them economically unviable and that may be why they're looking to consolidate s...

Re: RARHOF Alice Cooper Fan Day - Live From The Astroturf / Cold Cold Coffin

Does anyone know if this is being released as a single? The short answer is yes, sort of! A download and 7" vinyl single was offered to people that pledged funds as part of the CCC Kickstarter project, plus also lathe cuts of CCC, The Sound Of A and Fireball demos: https://www.kickstarter.com/proje...

Dennis is promoting his Cold Cold Coffin rock cinema piece, which launches worldwide on Saturday 26th. I believe he's performing it live at the Chiller Theatre on the same date!

Re: Lost Angels Tour

I genuinely hope that's not the case, but I wouldn't be surprised if attendances were low as some of the places they're going to seem odd on paper. I think East Anglia gets 3 dates, whereas large areas of the country have nothing. I do wonder if anyone had a map to hand when this was all booked as t...

Re: Lot of Originals

I see Cold Cold Coffin will be on YouTube on the 26th. I'm not sure what to expect but I will give it a watch. Cold Cold Coffin is marvellous, both sonically and visually (especially in a theatre). Well worth checking out on release date although Kickstarter supporters have been given access to vie...

Re: Tour 2018!

You might possibly be referring to a post she did on Instabook or Facetube (whatever it was) where she referenced a trip to get ice cream with her dad after a recent fall on stage. Worth pointing out though that it timed with the end of the 1st leg of the American tour so it may well have been back ...

Some video has surfaced of Alice taking a tumble at the show the other night. He carried on though so seems to have avoided injury thankfully.

Re: New 10” record

20,000 copies, for now at least! Ear Music increased The Sound Of A production from 4,000 to 6,000 so I suspect Phil will be easily able to pick one up at his local HMV.

Re: ‘Ol black eyes is back Tour

I’ll also be the first to whinge when someone sticks a camera phone up in the air at a show. Whenever I'm taking video, I try to be considerate and keep the phone as low as possible. I only took 2.5 songs and then some clips of a couple others. Some people will practically record the entire show, b...

Re: ‘Ol black eyes is back Tour

I have to confess to being a bit of a You Tube junkie. I do like trawling through to view historical concert footage etc.

I’ll also be the first to whinge when someone sticks a camera phone up in the air at a show.

I guess that makes me a total hypocrite :)

Re: Bob & Shep & Alice are ok

I believe and it is becoming more and more apparent that the original Alice Cooper band became a to big to fail corporate band during the making School’s Out. Bob, also would be judged as a producer by the bands output; Therefore he did what he needed to do not to fail by bringing in musicians to p...
