Re: The Alice Cooper album of the Day:LACE AND WHISKEY

For me, this is another great album. It's Hot Tonight is another Cooper Classic and great live track. Plenty of Coops sense of humour in the lyrics which is why I love Alice so much, you never really know whats coming next which seperates him from most others and why Dylan was right in saying what a...

Re: Musicans who found religion

People tend to forget how much stick Cliff Richard and Hank Marvin took over "Finding Religion" and how others that have followed since, such as Alice Cooper have also been at the receiving end of unnecessary, unfair and unjust comments. We all have our individual faiths and beliefs and this can be ...

Dada is a great album. It's a shame that Former Lee warmer will never get the true recognition that it deserves, only being heard by Alice fans and not a wider audiance - pure class...

Re: Cooperstown

I have been to Cooperstown in Arizona, and yes it is a great place with a good atmosphere, all the staff are friendly and the food is great. I was lucky enough to meet Dennis Dunaway, which made my trip from the South of England even more special. It was all part of my "Pilgrimage" to see the 2010 P...

I'm going for OWB, not only because I like it, but because of the amount of cover versions. It is obviously considered a top song from those in the know!

Re: Last Temptation to Brutal Planet

I don't know why, but I just can't get into Last Temptation. I know that there are some great tracks on the album and that it is very well produced and the lyrics and music are fantastic etc etc etc but no matter how many times I listen to it, nothing clicks... Brutal Planet on the other hand, click...

First single that I purchased, and I hadn't even heard it! my mate kept on about it when we were out finding car parking spaces for visitors to the Isle of Wight and when I had made enough money I went to the record shop and bought it, took it home and bang-never heard such a sweet sound... Re: 5 years with Alice

We have been truely spoilt by the Legend that is Alice Cooper, especially over he past ten years or so. I never thought that I would still be buying his fantastic records -cd's and DVD's let alone seeing him live in 2012 from way back in 1972 when it all started for me. We know that he can't go on f...

Re: This 'Bowie' thing.

Coupled with the infamy around Alice, no one was a bigger act than Alice Cooper for those 2 glorious years of 72/73 which were more like 12 months. For me,those 12 months have lasted for 40 years, and nobody's been bigger since or during this time period. Alice Cooper still treats us with regular tou...

Gunner et al,we have witnessed so many times over so many years how Alice Cooper (ACG) is or have been denied/ignored thier true place in rock history by some of these so called media historians that it should now be just water off a ducks back to us true fans. The Alice Cooper fan base is amongst t...

Whilst I can understand the wish to have seen the shows of the 1970s and the ACG at their best-been a fan since 1972 myself. I would only change one show of the 104 that I have seen and only because it was ruined by an idiot fighting in front of my 8 year old on her first Alice show in Southampton. ...
