Re: Old School Uncool
Dennis and Reggies track was uncomfortable to listen to. Didn't enjoy it at all despite trying hard. Michael's sample tracks left me completely cold and Born Screamer should never have happened. Appreciate that it's trying to capture an era but Neal's album cover caps a bad sequence for me. If I was...

Re: New song and video "Don't give up" coming!
Thanks Padre and Patrick too for your earlier comment. I'm also wondering when the band video clips were filmed for Dont Give Up. Given that Chuck was sporting a full beard during his interview with Roxie a few weeks ago it's either been filmed very last minute with Chuck taking the beard off for it...

Re: New song and video "Don't give up" coming!
Del I hope you are fully recovered and you and yours are safe and well. This song is meant for just NOW. that is the point of releasing it this way. If you don't think you will be listening to it 18 months from just now then that is fine. I have breadcrumbs high on my list of record rotation. I thi...

Re: New song and video "Don't give up" coming!
After being unwell and in hospital twice recently with some symptoms initially thought to be potentially Covid related this song resonates with me. I've spoken to dozens of healthcare staff while in hospital and had to listen to really sick and rapidly deteriorating Covid patients through the wall i...

Re: For Veronica's Sake
The last of the MOR albums, a massive step up from L&W and I rank it just after WTMN from the period. Often think it would have done so much better if released immediately after it as well. Didn't like How You Gonna See Me much as was getting fed up with the ballads but loved the rest of the album. ...

Re: new michael bruce group album
Disagree. Bob and Shep took the focal point and a big chunk of the talent.
I loved the group but, whether right or wrong, everyone knew the singer as Alice. The whole thing would have died if Alice Cooper didn't have Alice in it.

Re: Live at Glasgow '82 - 2lp RSD 20202
Would be great to have an album package which included some stories and pictures from the gig as a lot happened that night in that legendary venue. The atmosphere as Alice started was superb and one of the best I'd experienced there. It was quickly followed by the shock for many of seeing the new A...

Excellent news. Think I have three tape copies all of variable quality and one straight from the radio broadcast which is good. Remember the gig well as it was my first time seeing Alice live.

Re: 65 Quid For an Autograph!
I was at all the Edinburgh dates in 86 and 88. I was so excited to have the real Alice back after his problems and seeing the Nightmare Returns Detroit video I didn't even consider trying for an autograph and instead spent all my time in the pubs talking to fans from all over the UK who, without exc...

Re: Australian bushfire concert
Watched the highlights show last night on Sky. Didn't expect much so only having School's Out was not a surprise in the context of 60ish minutes of music overall. Like the way they cut it right at the pause after the Brick in the Wall section..

Goon Squad video was great,thanks.
My nephew was at Fire Fight. He's a big Queen fan but has never liked Alice. Loved his set though and thought the crowd reaction from the neutrals was superb.

Watched Roxie's video blog. Certainly seemed to be a big day for the band and good to see them backstage just before the set.

UK You Gov Poll
Strange place to find a poll on rock musicians but apparently they pull just about everything in the UK.

Personally, I've decided that I don't care about this stuff anymore. So, he'll make a few quid in a few hours by making some people very happy. He's a celeb and celebs need to work at staying celebs.Rather see him top of the bill than at a bargain bucket £20 with the old Dr. Who. As for links to com...

Disappointing sales for Glasgow Hydro gig so far. Still a long time to go but looks to be well down on the last visit. Same happening elsewhere?

Or how about a virtual duet with Michael Buble?
Going to be interesting to see how this thing plays out now with the most recent acts that have been confirmed.

Re: Alice with Tesla and Lita Ford Summer Tour
I've used eventbrite a couple of times for small gigs locally. On both occasions they emailed tickets but I also downloaded the app which gave me them as well. Have to say they didn't give me problems, but then again the gigs weren't cancelled.

Re: Alice with Tesla and Lita Ford Summer Tour
Schedule looks fairly busy already and it's still only January. Seventy plus gigs across eight months and no doubt plenty more activity October-December. He certainly ain't slacking yet..
