This is possibly my favourite video of the ACG. Great song, great performance (tight but loose) and every member of the band looks really cool.cherrypie wrote:I LOVE this video....would give an awful lot to have seen this live

Re: New book: Welcome to My Nightmare
I have decided to swerve this book due to the numerous factual errors. I received a Waterstones book token for my birthday that I was saving especially for this book but have now spent it on a different book. I'll pick it up for £2 if I see it in one of those remainder shops.

Re: Blue Coupe On tour
Blue Coupe are playing the Rock and Blues Weekend. I used to work at Butlins and the Rock and Blues Weekends are fantastic. I was a member of the stagecrew and we used to really look forward to the Rock and Blues Weekends. Anyone who goes will have a great time.

I presume it's not a one off date. Would love to see them live.

Re: Anyone know the new setlist ?
I think the cover of Born This Way is fantastic. I love it. I wouldn't do it as part of a 50 min Iron Maiden support slot. Maiden fans might not 'get it' but I am going to see Alice in Knoxville for his headlining gig and will be disappointed if he doesn't play it.

Re: The Chicken Incident
Thanks for the info.
Presumably then, there were no chickens after Toronto because the publicity had been achieved.
It just seems a very random idea. "Hey, you know how we burst open pillows on stage and spray the feathers around with CO2? Why don't we also place a couple of chickens on stage too"

The Chicken Incident
I have just watched MTV's 100 Most Shocking Music Moments and at No 17 was Alice and the chicken incident. I had always presumed that the only time a chicken appeared on stage with Alice was in Toronto. However, I think a picture in the W2MN Fan Pack mag shows a chicken on stage at another concert. ...

Re: Dark Shadows
I saw it a couple of weeks ago. I thought it was OK. For me it fell between 2 stools a litle bit. It wasn't as funny as I thought it was going to be judging from the trailers and it wasn't as dark as I expected either. Obviously I enjoyed Alice's appearance. Just wish he could have been in it even m...

Re: Classic VH v Classic Alice
I am a big VH fan and I love A Different Kind of Truth. It sounds just like prime early 80s VH. Unfortunately, few bands can recapture the magic. If it was easy, all classic bands would do it. VH have rerecorded 5 songs that they demoed in the 70s. This is something they did 'back in the day' too. F...

Dee Snider inspired by Alice
Twisted Sister Dee recounts how series of comedy messages led to demo then on to fully-fledged theatrical music record. Twisted Sister frontman Dee Snider was inspired to record his Broadway album after a series of missed phone calls with Alice Cooper. They entertained each other so much with their ...

Re: How do you feel about Alice opening for Iron Maiden?
Makes sense for Alice. He gets to play in front of big crowds and has the chance to convert many rock fans who would normally not go and see him live. Also it is a great value double bill with 2 legendary rock acts playing together.

Re: Alone In His Nightmare
I thought this had been discussed before but because the topic was just titled 'new release' I did not realise that it was referring to this CD. Perhaps Si can merge the 2 threads.mestreech wrote:And there was a topic on this cd.
